Nighttime Jae got a reaction from alehandroll in [Off-topic] bandmen brothers
Here I am with another piece of information only I can be  bothered with contribute with probably.

Ex-EVE Takeru (and now CLACK inc.) has two twin brothers (named Yuu and Kaname) who are also vocalists. They're currently a pop-rock duo called TWiN PARADOX, but they've been in several indie rock bands in the Osaka scene, such as 80/TRACK, which had a techno/dance/rock sound and somewhat a vk-ish aesthetic.

They opened for EVE  a couple times, even though they of course used to deny their relationship (not fooling anyone most likely since they look like a triplet almost lol)

Here's the three brothers back in the EVE/80/TRACK DAYS:

And them in their most recent picture:

Nighttime Jae got a reaction from gret in Vocalists who sound different from when they started
I think most vocalists, if they've been around long enough, will end up sounding different from the beginning.
If they start young especially, since your voice usually matures quite a bit going from your 20's into your 30's. If you take Takeru from Clack inc., his tone and style isn't that dramatically different from what he used to sound like in EVE, but the voice itself has definitely matured in an almost 10-year gap.

However, if you take Yuu in the Zodia days, his style, tone and technique is extremely different compared to what he sounds like nowadays. That to me is more of a conscious change rather than natural evolution , since back in the day he was heavily inspired by Jonathan Davis' vocal style and that fit the nu metal vibe of Zodia pretty well. Then in Ultimate Sonic, Affective Synergy etc. he has a more "classic" vk approach, also his vocal technique has overall improved a lot throughout the years and it shows. That isn't to say that his style in Zodia was "bad", not at all, it was really unique and his growls there are some of the best out there imho. But yeah, if you compare Zodia to Ultimate Sonic it doesn't even sound like the same person (unless you know it is)

Another one whose vocal evolution has been a conscious one rather than natural evolution is Mahiro. If you listen to his previous bands before Kiryu, you'll see how much his overall sound and style has changed. His vocals in Kiryu are very polarizing, some hate it and some love it (personally I'm not the biggest fan, even though I can commend him for being good at what he does), but if you compare it to what he used to sound like in Madara you'll be able to tell that these it's a heavily crafted, specific style he's going for rather than his "natural" way of singing. He went from sounding like your run-of-the-mill vk vocalist to one of the most unique and recognizable voices in the scene and an irreplaceable element to Kiryu's sound.

Tl;dr: most vocalists are bound to change their style throughout the years, whether it's natural evolution (or devolution) or conscious change. But most likely, if they've been around for long enough, no one will stay the same.
It is definitely interesting to highlight and analyze the differences though.

Omg I'm so psyched about this! I've been really into them ever since I ran across their three MVs, imo they really are a really talented and underrated band that can offer a different, unique sensibility compared to most of their contemporaries! I'm looking forward to anything they'll come up with, and I hope they won't fly under the radar this time!

    Ooooff.

I mean, given all the issues they've been having seems like they were doomed from the beginning, so it doesn't exactly comes as a surprise, but still...

Nothing is sadder to me than bands disbanding after one (1) single. Especially if they showed promise. We'll see if the members will show up elsewhere.

Agreed! They truly are amazing and much more genuine compared to other bands in the scene imo, less produced and cookie-cutter... they do have some deal with Kerberos Entertainment when it comes to music distribution, but the advertising for them is definitely not enough though sadly...

As for the member thing, it's true that they "lost members" but that's because anyone but Arma and Takeru are support members... so like, everyone is free to leave whenever, while  CLACK inc. is gonna continue as long as the two minds behind the project want to. That is to say that there's really no drama involved when the other members are leaving, they're all on good terms, for example, recently Tsubaki (now in RIR) has filled Arma's spot last minute at a live^^

I really really like the current line-up, therefore I hope it's gonna last as long as possible ><

They are an amazing band they just don't have the push behind them like a lot of other bands do, i.e. Goemon, Resistar, B.P. Records or something like that. But maybe over time they can still make it as long as they keep going. I mean they've lost many members and are still pulling through strong so good for them

This is a hard one for me, but probably for the opposite reason of most members here. I don't get the hype for either band. They're both incredibly talented, but while Kizu's releases all sound like the same song (speedy blast beats and repeated noise-words, interjected with spots to allow guitar spins), DIMLIM is a bit all over the place, especially with recent releases. So I give my tip to them, since they're displaying more range musically. They may not have the business down as well as Kizu, but I'm here for the music first-and-foremost and not the gimmick.

There's definitely been some unreported drama between EVE and UNiTE (because of the Sana situation) and Takeru has unfollowed Yui on Twitter (while Yui still follows him). He still follows Lin and Sana tho, so perhaps he only has beef with Yui🤷‍♀️
