Kind of got back into art, still lacking talent, but I'll show off the last thing I finished working on

 
and then I got really bored at work and tried to add to it with gimp, results are mixed at best

Daichi and Cazqui have created a new group together called CHAPTER OF PARADOSIS. They released a single called リビルド (Rebuild), originally sold as a live-limited CD, and is sold through iTunes (Japan only) starting from 2018.12.24. I get in Vidoll moods pretty often and spend time going through their old stuff. Love that there's a sizeable group of people here who seem to do the same.
Most of the major stuff was a snoozefest and missed the mark for me, but it's far more tolerable than a lot of other major vk acts at the time where. Jui's voice saved it from being truly garbage.
Even though it was such a tiny set, I'm glad I got the chance to see them once before the disbanded. I held on to that candy Rame threw at us for YEARS. Finally had to throw it away after I could see discoloration through the wrapper lol

It's almost like their concept is LACKing COhesion...

nah, but I really do appreciate how they just don't seem to gaf, like do whatever makes them happy, they've earned it.

sleepyhead will make an appearance at Tekko (Pittsburgh, PA), which runs from 2019.04.11 through 2019.04.14.
 
 

Just wanted to necro revive this thread to say that I am enjoying Gentle Forest Jazz Band's music! I've only recently found out about them by listening to their latest album release. I will have to check out their earlier stuff for sure XD
 
I've also stumbled across this pairing. It's got saxophone and guitar mixed together, but I'm digging the sound.
 
 
As for jazz-influenced music, the only one I can think of right now is Shoji Meguro. As for VK-related artists, D=out hands down plays jazz best, lol.

Who can ever forget Giru taking on the role as a lead singer in the making-of?
 
On a more serious note, Puzzle Ring is a great song.

I think the only post-INNOCENT TEENS song that stuck with me was Puzzle ring unfortunately. I do need to go back and check their later b-sides though, as I'm really enjoying Red card!
 
They had so much great songs early on, geez. The Mayura and Pisaroto minis alone are better than the discographies of most bands around these days. I used to watch this DVD and the 浪漫告白 one all the time back then. Jui's vocals during 透明ナカゴ >>>>
 
 

Vidoll was probably my all-time favourite back in the day. I own most of their discography and was obsessed since their early days. I enjoyed the Ayano-era the best and played their I My Ai Mai PV over and over. Rame's prominent basslines had me hooked. Boku Boku is a gem and Face Mayura, Face Pisaroto, If...Rebotomin and If...Torikabuto are still some of my most prized CDs.

Although I lost interest after their major debut, I still followed and liked some songs here and there. Bastard was a solid effort, but I mostly liked the b-sides from their singles, like Red cube, Gaga Syrup, and Berry Jam Cleaner.

HELLO. I'm Rae. I've actually been a member of the forum for a very long time, I've just  never posted. 
 
My favorite bands are D, Dir en grey, D'espairsRay, MUCC, One Ok Rock!, Versailles, and many others. I'm also an avid cosplayer and nerd. Nice to meet everyone here!

Ruiza will release a new mini-album called "refrain". It will be first sold at his live taking place at Shinjuku Ruido K4 on 2019.02.17, and will then be available by mail-order starting from 2019.02.20. It will cost 2,100 yen (tax included) and will contain four tracks.

I do not think that  "売れたい!!" (Uretai) will be sold again. I think it means that "今売れたい!!" (Ima uretai) is a second press of that album. 

Their first single, ドグマティック開花 (Dogmatic kaika), will be released at their lives and will be limited to 500 copies.
