Very excited for this band!

Same location
Even though it's the same location, the two bands give a completely different look using and from it. I feel like Marblehead used it better partially due to lighting and also the way they've chosen to pose using their surroundings.
I love this new look for Marblehead and new single seems enjoyable. Though, 『 - お願いマイメロディ☆ -』 definitely stands out from the others and I'm not sure if it's in a good way yet. It might be fun as a live song but it doesn't sound good just listening to it imo.

The screams are embarrassing. I honestly prefer their sound when they were just the duo and called themselves 'The Idol Formerly Known as LADYBABY' which still wasn't anything remarkable but it was certainly better than this.
-
Finally. Super excited

I saw this one coming so I'm not surprised, but I am disappointed.

Somehow I'm expecting LUCIFERO mixing. I didn't like the way KERBEROS was mixed either and I can only hope that was a one time thing.

If there is a god he would protect us from the new vocalist being Riku
EDIT: But to be fair, I don't think the new vocalist will be Riku. I'm scratching TZK out of the list since he has 8P-SB's assumed debut next month and probably wouldn't have time for Jupiter.

I had hope for .3 seconds lmao. Life is a simulation and this is the glitch that will end it all

Not bad at all. I have a feeling the vocals will grow on me.
EDIT: I actually really like the vocalist's voice now. I was sort of unsure of it before but it sounds nice.

I'm getting really tired of the names for these bands as of late LMAO.
Anyways, I'm mildly curious about them.
-
Well.... I'll give them credit for doing something different than what a lot of bands are doing these days. I personally don't like the look, but maybe it'll grow on me someday. HEATO also stands out a bit too much from the rest and—in my opinion—it doesn't look good.

Kisaki is legendary LMAO.
Another one I'm surprised no one has mentioned is JoJo from ギャロ (THE GALLO).... that man's lyrics...

I was so excited when these looks were first released. I really hope that the single will follow the most recent composition that their bassist Andy posted on Instagram.

Appearance. Most of the comments on their videos are about the appearance of the members and that's what their fans seem to focus on most also which allows them to lack and become lazy with their sound. I hope 8P-SB is different and focuses more on compositions and lyrics should it be a music project. Of course focusing on visuals isn't a problem—it is visual kei after all—but when they heavily lack in compositions and lyrics is when it begins to become a problem.

I really like La'Veil Mizeria because of that whole "revival" look. I think the track 「泡沫」 on their 「寂滅饗筵」mini-album definitely reflects the sound that was popular in the 90s and early 2000s for VK also.

Most things by THE SKULL FUCK REVOLVERS are lost. PRINCE ALBERT, WELCOME TO THE SUICIDE, 13-THIRTEEN-, WELCOME TO THE GENOCIDE,
THE END OF THE WORLD, CACHALOT, HELL'S ISLAND ICE TEA, I AM WORLD'S END GANG STAR, GOURMET, JOLLY ROGER, FLYING BITCHMAN are pretty much nonexistent now. Only BOUQUET and LEONID are easily accessible via Youtube. -

The tracks 'Ju te veux' and 'S-Conscious' on the Malice Mizer album merveilles are pointless filler that serve no other purpose
I completely agree with this. I thought I was the only one who thought it tbh.
On the topic of MALICE MIZER, I think I'll say my unpopular opinion about them:
GACKT was the weakest vocalist for MALICE MIZER and pales in comparison to Tetsu and Klaha. In addition, I feel that the only reason why GACKT-era was the most popular was because of the catchy/poppy songs and also the fact that the most songs were released in that era (in comparison to Tetsu and/or Klaha era, both strong vocalists).
Since I'm talking about GACKT, his best album was definitely Mars. While Crescent and Rebirth had good tracks I wouldn't compliment them as entire albums, although they're certainly more pleasant than ..... some of the other things he's released or has participated in*cough*yellow fried chickenz*cough*
I think GACKT's career is near-dead now and if it's not [his career] should die out.

What do you guys think about it ? Do you think it's real ? Or was it staged and Tzk and Koichi wanted to make a statement maybe ?
It definitely looks like a statement to me.

Words are unable to describe my expression when I first saw this look. I love them but.... what the hell? LOL, I can't

but it grew on me.
This. The vocals sound really polished. Too polished imo. It was awkward to hear at first, just because I wasn't used to it. That doesn't mean it's bad though. Like I said, I'm really quite fond of it. KERBEROS grew on me after the second listen.
The vocals are definitely an improvement, though! Before he couldn't even hit the notes in BELIAL live without struggling, so hearing him hit nearly all of the notes live for KERBEROS is pretty impressive lol.

8 minutes ago, Komorebi said:I agree on this one. They are a band to listen to, not to look at. Chizuru has a very pleasant voice and Atsuki is a really good drummer.
I think so as well. I'm always reminded of how good Atsuki is at drumming when watching them live.
I think the rest of the members have a lot of potential too. Their capabilities are most displayed in 真昼間は別の顔, グッド・バイ, and ドラマ in my opinion! I think Minpha's bass really shines in all of the named tracks and we get to hear more of Taku and Yutori's guitar playing in ドラマ!

I'm always trying to find new music to listen to and expanding my taste in music. I enjoy when artists have a sort of acquired taste and challenge my music preference. A good example of this is BUCK-TICK's music. They have a very unique and interesting sound that took me a while to get into, but now I consider myself a fan and enjoy most of their music.
I typically listen to a new song that I'm iffy on multiple times unless it's dreadful enough (imo) that I just cannot get used to it.

All of the songs in GALLO's "Dainippon Kokkei Shugisha Renmei Koushinkyoku" aka the "-Tanchou" series (and the rest of GALLO's discography tbh).
"Hope." by hakubishin
"Dakara kirainanda, ame nante." by GreeΣ
"Dame ningen", "Makka na uso", and "STELLA" by Arelquin
"Good bye" by pentagon
"MESSIAH", "Genzai no ringo", "Gesshoku", "DIVERGENCE", "RAVEN", and "Kase to chinou -sore tte totemo ningen rashii tte kamisama wa waratteru no-" by MEJIBRAY
Admittedly, most of the MEJIBRAY songs are really bad but they always get stuck in my head somehow and so I wind up listening to them lol.

Love your look for the night!
I'm somehow a bit surprised to see 泡沫 on the setlist. It's my favorite song by them, but I thought it would be one they would never (or rarely) perform. How did it sound live?
Also—if it's not too much to ask—I'd love the scans for the 薄紅ノ葬 booklet!
