  1. Am I the only one disappointed with everything after their compilation album? Seriously, those singles are so... "artificial". We can deal with filler tracks when the main track of each single is good, but even the ones that had a MV were very bland. Gossip used to make the same kind of music with plenty of releases too,but at least all of them has some heart in it.

If it wasn't for yuuki playing the Hatsune Miku, they'd be a hot quartet. full length, pls
  3. Sometimes I feel like being a GEEK is one of the most idiot and worthless things in this shitty world.

You guys are right,I really appreciated your thoughts on it.

I'm used to get "strength" from all these things I've collected and spent my time with since years.

And recently I've been expecting to get the same strength (the reason I'm so into MH)  but it didn't work. Im always feeling Unfulfilled. Since I started my adult life,I'm feeling incredible oppressed, cuz I've screwed everything up and I'm not the young-adult I thought I'd be.

hey i hope you'll get better soon〜 mistakes are okay, feeling like shit is okay, it's all temporary. some time ago  you found out that geek stuff gives you strength, maybe later you'll find other things. it seems you have a rough time now but you know, if you failed something it doesn't mean everything is over. keep going in the direction you want. or take a break if you feel tired and don't know what to do yet. whatever is fine.

Didn't read everything, so maybe someone wrote it already:
It's one of your personality traits, just like technology Nerds are spending a fckn huge time with PC / Coding / Programing or stuff like this and spend most of there money on it or Music / Art anything.
So see it as part of you, what makes you out/a bit of your person.
You may got lost in a wrong though that's you now saw it like this? Cause I guess that's happens everyone with stuff like this by an time - but in the end the only thing which matters is that's it still makes you happy / you love it or things like this. :)

  4. Lets just be honest,If TODAY were Chiaki's solo album or his side project, everyone here would be loving it.That album was pretty decent, not a total disaster like 8P-SB...just not the mad DEZERT we know. Let's see if they plan to please the old school fans with this one

Personally, this is a strange record.i like it,but at the same time it makes me confused.Even with it's flaws and dissonances,it was inspired, but again it feels like a package of good ideas badly executed. I'm hooked by the vocalist, and I really hope issei can chill out and find a balance in his productions or just leave it to someone else take over and make it real good, just like the DIMLIM's paradox [full album is up on Roppu's channel]

now it's official,i'm absolutely in love with this mini. loved the characteristic 90's guitar tone, and the riffs are familiar but yet pretty original.the hypnotic and effective bass lines, the lonely/melancholic atmosphere...even Karma's whiny vocals fits perfectly with the tight and smooth production the piano as first and last track gave it an elegant touch just like the album artwork,i enjoyed that. seriously,i didn't expect it to be so accessible and catchy.

i am the only one who totally forgot their existence for a period? could be a bit heavier, imo, but still pretty good stuff, just like the first mini.love his voice
  9. I wanted to create a topic to talk about some "dark issues",but i'd probably get censored, and sometimes i forget that this is a music forum, after all...

exploiting such issues are too inappropriate for a forum like this.
      it involves alcoholism,self harm,social phobia,death of relatives,suicide,etc.

i don't wanna look like someone trying to get attention, like: "why is this guy saying such stuff"

i know, when you writte sad things on internet, somehow you want to be noticed,

and at the same time take a load off your shoulders.even annonymous,it is embarrassing.

i'll try to be as coherend as possible with the forum's policy while i speak out my mind,

cuz making texts is better than hurt myself sporadically.

i wouldn't come up with any story of mine, now i just thought about some serious thread, basically like the random thoughts thread, but only for "depressive" stuff.

      (sorry for the big text)

Nobody will treat you as an attentionwhore, I suppose. So, feel free to share your thoughts and create a thread. MH is pretty friendly board, after all.

  10. @Bear just felt in love with her music, fantastic recommendation !
  11. in my country, collecting Mangas,DC and Marvel comic books, became a hobby for rich people. '--'

Can't explain exactly why but that look gave me some SKULL/Unsraw vibes. Hope I'm right...any information about the members?
  13. I've been feeling like living in a dull age,and music is one of the few things that keeps my days a little bit more enjoyable. So,few days ago i decided to listen something different and randomly i ended up playing some 90's best album from T.M Revolution and i absolutely loved the atmosphere. It just felt nostalgic, like when i was a kid watching some animes with those catchy songs (good times) So i thought: why not diving into this kind of music? i mean...i don't know nothing about the japanese music out of visual kei, and think the old stuff is a good place to start and also the most interesting part: here's some things i started listening these days
  14. Please, share here and discuss about 70's 80's and 90's (maybe early 2000) japanese singers and albums that you might know about things different from the usual visual kei that we already know !

@CELESTIAL CIEL when I first heard AvelCain,I hated Karma's singing, but suddenly i got used to them, and started loving it so I think we just need time to digest this brand new Karma. At least the whole concept is pretty solid.
  16. Manji 卍

i don't even know what people who never liked AvelCain are doing here in this thread. '--'
  17. WATAIN are simply the rockstars of black metal!

  18. Manji 卍

I think this Jin thing is simply a matter of talent. He just can't come up with something truly memorable. Sho (DIMLIM) for example, he's not even half a decade in the scene, and each track so far had a chorus to die for.
  19. Just lost all my suehiro maruo mangas I've downloaded. If any of you know where I can find them easily, pls help me

  20. PUNK!! that's what I've been waiting for! Never liked Izumi and his previous band, not even sex Android as well bcuz of the vocalist, but now that's a good combination. And Izumi's vocals just clicked me for the first time
  21. can anyone recommend me some good blogs to download or find underground post-punk and black metal releases? i recommend these two: https://stenchofthedeath.blogspot.com/search/label/black metal , https://www.cvltnation.com/

There's a Russian message board metalarea.org - it's pretty easy to register to, and is constantly updated with new releases (and most of the older releases' dead links get replaced frequently too). This is for the black metal part of your question obviously. :D For post-punk I don't know of any other 'one' source except the Stench of Death blog.

    2. Bear

      Bear

Haven't used metalarea.org in a long time, but it used to be excellent. If you wanted a demo from1987 that was released in 7 copies, that was the place to find it.

If you don't mind torrents, then metal-tracker.com is really good. Not only black metal, but it's very good for black metal as well as most other metal sub genres. As people who upload have to add their own genre the genre tags might come as cross as a bit messy, but it works. This, metalarea and a few dead black metal blogspots used to be my go-to's for years until I more or less stopped downloading music a few years ago.

just listened without watching the MV and it's not tooo far from what AvelCain used to do on it's b-side tracks honestly i was waiting for something not so br00tal,but more like the stuff below,so i'm pleased
  23. Manji 卍

@kuyashii i think all of the "issei era" songs deserved to be re recorded they are all good, just in need of good production. (imagine Age of Lies or Aharewata with the CHEDOARA production)

TENTEN looks like Tsuzuku under 8P-SB effects
  25. Manji 卍

that's pretty cool but i wonder whats the purpose of a session
