nope but if you go to their lives. you can give them an envelope with money
  2. Let's hope so, But I guess we will see keisuke playing guitar in a different band for sure. many former starwave people, still do play their instrument.
  3. BrenGun

because 1) Bren was the name of one of our cats in the past. but she sadly was hit by a car ( or deadly bitten by a dog 「I forgot」) 2) Its simple a nice nickname sounds cool (。-∀-) 3) because my brother art is amazing, so if you search his nickname on deviantart you will find his gallery. (even tho he is more active now on instagram) thats why (^o^)v
  4. BrenGun

newest art of my brother crazy good somehow..

While I was watching them, I really thought, I wanna go for a " smoke"... Then later back home when I did check out their CD, which was free, I thought, damn those guys actually sound amazing perfect on CD. how the fuck couldn't I like them LIVE?! how was that possible?!!! Of that event day, I really thought they were the worst band. Still if they do play ever again, I surely will check them out.
  6. BrenGun

but live they kinda.. not that amazing. lol
  7. BrenGun

haha, guess they saw that someone shared " letter" on the interwebs which made them think to make it availalbe as download tho?
  8. BrenGun

damn they changed their sound. vocal sounds a bit as Gackt, Kamijo, Kaya mix something like that. some parts are edited other parts is more his real voice? at least sounds as they tuned up the vocal a bit. yet its not bad. Lets see what they drop out more ( ・∇・) looking forward to the restart!

go more ikebukuro chop underground started bands and you notice vkei bands with Male fans. what I have noticed is that guys more liie the "darker look vkei" and not so the "(more) colorfull". I've a bunch of male friends who love vkei and also some popukar vkei reviewers are MALE!!!!! If you guys want to more clear up about visual kei and male fans. I could try to ask one of Japan most famous vkei music writer to tell us more about it. but still the colorfull real ikemen vkei bands, It's more a "female" thing. Than you see Guys attending. but an artist kike YUKIYA has also many male fans. I went to kain gig. and about 50% was male. so it does depends on the type of style if guys wanna go to a gig. and Maybe theu simply wanna avoid drama with female fans? female can also be jealous to male fans, because yes often male fans get more (other) attention. since most bands are happy to see a dude also enjoying their music. Even tho Hiroki said he never felt a problem, but maybe there is a reason for that.. Still online you find lots of diehard japanese male vkei fans. but I feel as they don't really dare to stand up in the front. often if they go to a gig, they will watch from behind.
  10. Yes that's correct, I can confirm that 100%. He also just started a solo project, but don't forget that "Rizu" is only a limited time band.
  11. BrenGun

DAV? sounds as DAVID *laugh* Let's see who it will be, Starwave is not for all bands the perfect choice.
  12. BrenGun

That's true, he is good at it, still he has not an unique voice, it's the sound how many other VK scene vocalist sounds, but he knows how to use it. So to listen to him it's good for the ears, however it bores me still after a while. (aka, I would not listen to this band for a half or full day only) But it's surely not bad! (^_^) If I would play bands randomly I would definitely put some songs of RAZOR in my playlist.
  13. BrenGun

Yeah, it's really good, lovely mini album. However it's sad that the vocalist has such standard visual kei sounded voice, he doesn't have a lovely unique voice. But beside that, melody and vibe it's really amazing. Hope they keep on going to create such greatness. BORN was also a great band ^^

buying merchandise is the best way to support a band. Still if the band is under a label you don't know how much they receive themselves. But it's the no.1 money income. And they get most money from selling "cheki" (10 cheki cost them only about 700~800yen) However, even if the money goes to the label, I think you still need to support the artist. How more a label get, how more they support their artists. And for disbanded bands, it's hard to tell how much they get from the royalties, it really depends on the contract they signed. Also for visual bands it's very important that they sell their CD's and merchandise good, if they wanna stay alive. with or without a label. If the selling won't go well enough, a band also disbands (often). Just check the DL part of this forum to check if you find anything you look for. Otherwise you always can request what you are looking for and maybe someone is willing to share the love with you. So, just support the artist you like. It's never a waste of money.
  15. it's king zeebra (side label)😂 http://buzz-splash.com/company.html

  18. nya no need, the bands we know who are popular will be end up in the list anyway. there won't be big surprises anyway. Maybe it could turn in that some random people with different taste of music would like to share their favorite list at the end of the year?
  19. @Duwang yes, things are pre-recorded because they also play without a drummer now. But yes, thats a taste thing. But also for you, I don't see you following bands similar to merry badend. so no wonder why you don't like them? anyway I don't believe that they would a hold a oneman or 2man for only 10~15 fans. (^_^;) Also what happens a lot is that fans dislike bigger events. (if like 5+ bands play) I've saw often that they only played 4~5 songs. if you don't like the other bands playing you don't throw in a 3500yen that fast for such short setlist. also they often play as one of the first bands. ←that also matters. I follow a few other bands and it happened often that a bunch of diehard fans didn't show up, because: not interested in the other bands / no time / no money. But I never saw them live myself. (always had other businiss to do) but seeing those video footage, their twitter followers, I doubt that they are always that unloved in Nagoya / Tokyo. But as said before, let's see what the future will bring. on CD they aren't that bad.
  20. BrenGun

Can't say that they improved their sound. They added many elements which I don't like much. So I feel glad that I didn't bought it, also won't add it to my collection. Somehow the songs sounded way more nice LIVE a year ago. But it's not a bad album, I liked their previous releases more.
  21. Yeah, Their fanbase can be stagneted, But I doubt that they only have like 10-15 fans who follow them. seeing those live videos, I guess they have at least 30-100. (depends on type of event) Also recently they also play more on a 2man and 3man events. Their upcoming oneman is also in Tokyo. So maybe their Nagoya fanbase is stagnated? but their tokyo fanbase is growing? At least now days if 150-250 people show up for watching you it's a lot. I also did notice, that Merry Badend have also have a bunch of DEVIZE fans. But we will see what the future will bring. Disband soon? well their schedule goes until March. so 100% not before April 2018. Merry badend did start at the end of 2015. so they turn 2 years now. However, if I check your music taste, then Merry Badend is far different from what you usually listen too. Would be hard for you to get into. Still I hope you can enjoy them somehow if they play on an event you attend too. But, If you would ask me, which Nagoya band you should listen too, I would not have recommend Merry Badend to you. (same goes for Shaolan and The Moon) And that's alright, since it's a matter of taste! Anyway let's see what the future will bring them.

doesn't turn you 「gayer」???? haha sounds as you are already gay on the highest level. 😂😂😂 but, I guess some poses are not often done by straight men. but yet to see a guy only on pictures its hard to tell. also some gay guys don't act as gay at all. but maybe we really can guess if some dudes are gay by looling their photos / watching videos.
  25. BrenGun

I guess the main question is. can we see at the pose of the guy, if he is gay or not. Well, I've seen so many Japanese guys, but it's damn hard to tell if they are. Japanese guys also don't care to hug or to touch each other, doing crazy gay poses, etc. after all, does it matter if someone is gay? well would be painfull if you kove a gay men as a woman. but still... Sooo, maybe... people lets turn this topic in. I guess this 「guy」 of this 「band」 is gay because (........) \(^^)/
