The members of BELLMONDO are from different bands, however those bands were disbanded. The 3 bandholic’s met and spirited each other, which as result that they formed a new band together in September 2008. Everybody loves the guitar, so the band decided to not use a “bass” Members: Vo & G：Q Dr & Cho：BUNYA G & Cho：ODAKA The origin of the band name is just a mindset. It comes from their favorite movie actor “Jean – Paul Belmondo” Since it’s not standard to not have a “bass” player, BELLMONDO are baseless-kei? To name it briefly, the band has a UK-like sound with reminiscent of garage / alternative & shoegazer. The band is mostly active in Tokyo. I must say, I saw them together with @Messenger84 and... I believe there were only a few fans. We both even got a V/A album for free after buying a few Cheki from them. Because they seemed to be happy that someone cared... But I don't remember much from that evening.. too much alcohol.

Everybody loves Mucc isn't?! I never got into them, and I guess I also never will. Back in the days I didn't like the "voice" of the vocalist, but I've no clue if I still think so. With bands who are already so long on the picture it holds me somehow back to listen to them. Even if it only need to be "one" release. I've seen more people writing about zigzag, always their news topics are full of people who are happy with a new release. And now also you says they released something good. Which makes me also wonder, shall I try it. for XAA-XAA To be honest I also do like this band, however somehow I don't even "care" to check out their releases. I never thought that they are "super" good. But they are surely a nice band. But since I didn't listen to the album (I did DL, but I did deleted from my PC, I guess? wtf) I wonder if I shall push myself to check it out again. since they do have some nice songs. As I said in my own review, I don't really know how good 2018 would have been for me. I only did listen to a few bands and didn't really care to check out other band music. But I still believe that 2018 wouldn't be a too bad year if I would have checked out every release I could check. K-pop / other music of the west. I don't care to check it out, somehow I'm only from the "Japanese" releases only. Sometimes I do listen to Eminem or Itchy Poopzkid(German punk/rock/alternative band) but that's it. While my brother is very much K-pop lately. He is such big fan of TWICE. (=_=)/// An today I did read that TWICE is damn popular in Japan. (no wonder why it was easy to buy a bunch of CD's of them while I was in Tokyo)

Always if those bands release some damn release I always wonder when they tell the costume maker to start to create their new outfits. But hopefully this release will be a blast too like the other 2

Vo. Leo from "The Last Crane" will leave the band on 1/12 at Ikebukuro Black Hole . The band don't know yet if they will disband or will continue without him, they will discuss that matter on a later date. I hope someone can translate his full message maybe @cvltic?

10cheki only cost 800yen camera about 8000 yen. 1 cheki for sale is 500yen. so if you sell 18 you already have back your costs. a band should be really ugly or bad to not gain those costs back.

Nya, it doesn't matter if you release songs already, (live limited own pressed releases can't be that expensive to release isn't?~ also bands earn a shitload from Cheki) I mostly guess bands don't have the patient to gain fans. They give up way too fast. I even do follow non vkei bands who only have also around 10-20 fans each gig and they are around for 10+ years. But was this band under a label then? usually bands with a crappy label still do live a bit longer.

Let's hope he can bring some real KEI back to visual kei. I'm looking forward to it. And let's hope his "ego and will" is strong enough for "kiwamu's ego". We will see, and hopefully we as overseas fans also can get his music more easy in the future, that's what Kiwamu shall do!!
