saw that the phrase the acronym “yaoi” comes from (“山無し落ち無し意味も無し”) pops up in cali≠gari's "zero sum game"...
...making it the first song to mention both BL and the corrupt, incompetent, nationalist japanese government?
definitely my kind of thing

i've noticed that as well! but the originating phrase is specific enough, plus maya mineo's involvement, that it seems rather purposeful? the word itself definitely originated in japanese fandom, even if it's not super widely used there and has its own specific sorta meaning compared to its use in the west (been reading on the history and meanings of BL as it's fascinating to me, but still have a lot to read...)
the booklet's english translation also includes the line "(stop, my butt hurts,)" though it doesn't seem like the original japanese has an equivalent line?
haha, overall there's a lot of crumbs that i can notice but don't have the knowledge to put together in any lucid sense

aicle.'s 球形無限連鎖 is the perfect synthesis of utter batshittery, glitter, barreling blast-pop and fragile and lush melodics
(i feel REALLY bad because aicle were one of my first vk bands but never listened much beyond 心臓's title track and like, Yeti until last year-now... gawd!)
