  1. Of course you're not a bad person, you don't try to hurt someone, we're all different in every way, it's difficult to stay true to yourself and be socially acceptable sometimes, but it's part of being a social animal, I can put me as an example, I've anxious depressive disorder and a lot of times I have horrible thoughts about everyone, but when I start working I need to smile to everyone cuz I work in a hospital and I know all these people are suffering from horrible diseases, and here I am helping them and their families, at least for me that changes everything and full my heart but it's not easy start the day with horrible thoughts and then smile for everyone and making them comfortable

so talking about you again (sorry for the self centered prick example) in general people want to hear comfortable comments because sometimes they don't want the truth, just hoping for carry on in their lives, every brain has different concepts of life for their experiences and thats awesome and horrible at the same time, so cheer up you're not bad, you're just true to yourself and if someone wants to be your friend is going to be not because you can help them, it's because they really loves you as a whole

if someone drags you down, he/she is making you suffer that isn't kind enough to understand that they're hurting you too and you need to move one, suffering is part of our lives, but that is not a reason for keep it

  2. Lab. / Lab the basement: is pure gold for me, since Ao is a beast of a composser, they sound like a more post-punk version of cali≠gari, and I don't want to compare both because they are in different games, but yeah both bands are awesome (I'm not comparing because @Tokage already speak of c≠g)

Kagerou/蜉蝣: they were a HUGE game changer in the scene, they weren't the first doing awesome things in VK, but they do it very well, in one album you were going from pop to rock, from folk to metal, they were so awesome, a unique voice, an AWESOME work in the melody of the compossisions, one of a kind

L'arc~en~ciel: maybe I'm just being nostalgic, but I think no one sound like them, even in the western, they are just unique, and like cali≠gari the side projects of the members aren't as good as their main band

KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND: another one of a kind band, they weren't doing something new but like a lot of unique bands the blend of the musicians were awesome and they sound unique in a style that existed

Kagrra,: the blend of traditional japanese music and rock, the voice of Isshi (R.I.P) for that reason they were huge in western audiences, something I haven't found in newer bands

MERRY/メリー: again, the blend of the voice and the composition make a unique sound, making them the first band I really dig in, the guitar work (when first listened them I was learning guitar) is flawless, never heard something like that

And pretty much any angura kei bands cof cof グルグル映畫館

  3. They start as a full sympho black And starting to drop that with time (not tottaly in their sound but their image), is like any other band who change their Style (for different reasons of course) in bm it's different because you either die being an asshole or die being a "sell out", personally I feel the BM is free as a bird and pretty personal for the musicians where they can express whatever they want even if that's bad or wrong, where are bands from right wing and left wing (even nsbm like goatmoon and I love em) and yeah the "sell out" bands are trying to be big and I like my BM being Niche, that's why I can't take them as a serious BM band

By the way I'm not saying a band trying to be big is bad, of course musicians wanna be big and live with that

hes holding the kid upside down, some parents do that when playing with their kids - some kids like that, but the one in the pic clearly doesnt and the mom says he'd insist on doing that knowing the kid didn't like it

oh ok, so if the child don't like it that's more disturbing on this entire story, what's the idea behind that? the guy need some psychological/psychiatric attention

    and be in jail

I don't know what the fuck he's doing in the first two pictures, but the allegations are really REALLY serious and with pictures, I don't know how the justice works in Japan but the guy's place is in jail

  6. takahashi hiroyuki-mitsume is his name (A.K.A Slipper-taka) here's a video of him/her(?) with adobe

P.S.: I edited it because there's websites where is called "she" and others "he" so I dunno, but that's the name of the artist

I love the artwork for Sick2 (every one of them)

  7. I didn't know about this "feud" because I just really don't read the comment section on youtube (it's a steamy pile of shit everywhere you go), but I think is because they are two major bands, well they are HUGE compared to any other VK band, so the people are like in the football (soccer for my american friends) take a side and fight back

Personally I love both bands and hate people

  8. Hi, if you're only interested in rock/metal bands (not only japanese bands) I can recommend you some: start trying Borknagar's "Origin", it's a fantastic acoustic album, other metal bands into acoustic are: "Sig:Ar:Tyr", "Ulver" (the album kveldssanger), and "Ivar Bjørnson & Einar Selvik"
if you want only japanese bands here's my top 10:

-Rentrer en Soi - Last Word
-Dir en grey - Akuro no Oka
    -12012 - The Swim
    -Sadie - Silent Eve
-X Japan - Crucify My Love
    -Luna Sea - Gravity
    -Glay - Way of difference
    -Janne da arc - DOLLS
    -the GazettE - Pledge
    -Vistlip - Chimera

Edit: oops, I listed ballads on that top 10, sorry 😩

And just to make it even more confusing. Amesoeurs and Lantlôs. Lantlôs' second album .neon, which are brilliant, are considered one of the best post-black metal albums around. But it's basically a rip-off of Amesoeurs with Neige of Alcest and Amesoeurs handling the vocals. The thing that makes it a bit confusing is that Amesoeurs is not considered post-black metal.

That's why I prefer to call them just "avant-garde", like solefald and arcturus, is just "new", and for me is difficult to tag them cuz every band is trying to sound different but of course with clear influences, the tags in almost every time are created by magazines

now, talking about the "new" trend on adapting black metal to other genres I really dislike all this kind of bands like deafhaven, bosse-de-nage, etc. I feel isn't honest music like the roots of this genre, black metal was of course a bunch of teenagers enraged with the christianism in their countries and flavoured with patriotism, but I feel it more honest than this newer bands making black metal "artistic" hipster, that's why I only listen to a handful of bands and probably some of them aren't post-black metal haha, still there's some good bands

Träumen Von Aurora is really good
