What are people's thoughts on the latest release? Took me a few tries to get into it, it's a lot slower than their previous stuff. My favourite track is jihito jihito and least favorite is gura no shokutaku, hope they never record something like that again lol

Sucks I'll have to go through 18 episodes or whatever to get to that point. I'll start eventually. This season is keeping my busy with: steins;gate Tokyo ghoul:re (yeah, I'm the sucker who rated both previous seasons as a 3* but I'm still giving re a chance). Cardcaptor Clear arc There's still a couple of others that I want to start as well like mahou shoujo ore!

In Love With A Ghost and OMORI SOUND TEAM (for OMORI the game) fit ost/bgm/vgm. I'm subbed to the former on YT (where you can go down that rabbit hole.)
Perhaps [.que] (BRILLIANT HOPES) [OTOTOY has more of his tracks tho], Vanilla (Origin), NxxxxS (Fujita Scale), or Grant Ulysses (Asleep In The Sun) might be of interest?
Luxury Elite (world class) and Eco Virtual are more vaporwave-y if you like that type of stuff.
Also gonna plug ano(t)raks, with their whole collection of artists (city pop, electronic, shibuya kei, etc.)

@colorfuljinseithank you!! Did you support omori when it was on kickstarter? The demo finally came out recently, but I didn't know about it back then. I'm just glad development is going somewhere!

I didn't know much about it either until early last year when there was a Kotaku article about it (which was already long past the funding period). What's funny is I've known about OMOCAT for a long time via her Zelda comics, but never knew about the game.
I enjoyed Undertale and Earthbound, so when OMORI does become publicly available I'd probably purchase it.

Nakigahara, Ito, Calm Envy and Sumire are my top gazette ballads. Others that are worth mentioning are Hanakotoba, ju nana sai, reila (but only because it has some great instrumental sections here and there) and I don't think it really counts as a ballad but Kyomu No Owari Hakozume No Mokushi is fantastic and catchy af. In terms of worst ballads I'm repulsed by guren. I've even learned to like cassis in the last couple of years, but I can't stand more than a minute of guren.

What are their shows like, since they don't have a lot of material to play? Are they extra short or just full of mcs? I've been wondering the same thing for bands that are even younger than kizu.
