eh who cares if its a single, theres mini albums on here that only have like 2 songs more than all the kizuato tracks so i think its fair, especially if the release is that solid 

Quite dissapointed how Haru to Shura wasn't pick in this list. It was one of the most refreshing and overall great releases of 2018.But also overall, a good list.
By the way, kizu shouldn't be here as that release is a single, not an album.

01/18 : As I expected, King Gnu's first major album is clearly a amazing album, I wasn't bored one minute !

07/14 : WAW found Minami Deutsch's new album, that's really really dope !
08/09 : I'm trying to restart my list, I surely forget some things (like singles), but it's okay

So far, 2018 is still a better music year than this one.

Coming back for the 4th year in a row, this thread is dedicated to Japanese releases in 2018 that the MH Community will listen to and would like to keep track of throughout the entire year. It’s a nice way of referring back to a list, should you forget if you’ve listened to a certain release yet or not. I know I forget sometimes haha. These ratings can also help those who may want to see which releases are favoring well or not, based on each individual user who you may have similar tastes with.
You never know, as this could come in handy at the end of the year.
 
Feel free to set up your own rating system (Stars, ?/5, ?/10, Best to Worst, Oooh to Eww, etc.), but try and use spoiler tags to save room in your post, and save room on the page for the other members’ rating lists.

I think I'm finally finished!

B-side songs were great. Main song, generic as expected from HIZAKI but not bad. Overall, a good release.
Kuze's unique voice and talent brought novelty to Jupiter's sound. Sadly it wasn't enough to overcome those HIZAKI's terrible generic compositions.
Really not much left for me to say.
 
Over the last five years, HIZAKI can't come up with something fresh and interesting. At this point, I'm afraid the change I was hoping for Jupiter's sound won't happen. And even worse, Kuze would leave. But let's see what the future holds (please, HIZAKI, goddamit).

After the first two months of 2019 passed, I decided to stop updating this list because every day I discovered a new 2018 album that I didn't hear before, on time. I decided to close this post as it is.
 
2018 was the year I've heard more music through all of my life. A huge lot of great album releases, from big and well known artists such as DEG, Kyary, KAMIJO, The GazettE, to new, indie, underground artists to me, such as Haru Nemuri, More, Klan Ailee, SWARRRM. Definitely one of the best years in Japanese music. I'm so glad 2018 was full of amazing albums because music is a great part of my life. Cheers for a 2019 full of great music as well.
 
BTW, fuck XA-VAT and their "we're way too underground to release K-I-S in-store or digitally". We were excited to listen their return .
