Just finished the office viewing and business meeting!

first of all, the office looks promising.
It is a bit derelict, but with some tender love and care....and ALOT of hard work and effort, I am sure it can be made beautiful.

just trying to figure out a few last financial issues and what not.

but hopefully it all works out.

There has been a bit of a delay with the website as there was some issues with very poor customer service with the web host company we were trying to use.
but that's now (mostly) in the past.
so hopefully the website will be up soon.

and for a announcement, with the website, we also plan to open a webshop that sells band merchandise.
of course we plan to provide merchandise from the main bands associated with V STAR, however we are also considering branching out to other bands to provide more variety in the case of the webshop.
we cant make any promises, but please feel free to list any bands you would really like to see on our webshop, if possible we will make it a reality (primarily smaller indie bands for the time being)

We have officially sent in our first request to view a possible office space.
This is a huge step for V STAR PROMOTION as a company, and I would be lying if I said it isn't a big gamble and a risk.
But if this works out as planned V STAR PROMOTION will be able to provide much more content and services for vkei fans across the world.
But in order for this to work we will need your support.

Big news for V STAR PROMOTION
another member has joined the V STAR family.
A native Japanese whom can speak English.
With our new addition we will be able to bring you more content.
Currently we are looking into the possibility of renting a small office space in central Osaka.
If we are able to do so, we will be able to provide much more content!

Opinions Please

Currently I am throwing around a bit of a wild idea in my head.
Writing it here is in no way a confirmation, just a check to see if the interest is strong enough to warrant the effort it would take to organize.
 
But would people be interested in a live stream where, with a translator present the international vkei fans themselves could ask questions of one of the musicians I work with (who would be willing)
 
Generally it would probably be operated simular to an in store event in Japan.
Due to time, and other issues it would be hard to assure that everyone’s questions would be asked and answered.
But it would give everyone a chance to ask and interact with a vkei artist in a new way.
 
Once again I stress the fact that this is not a confirmed thing, just something I am considering looking into if there is enough interest.

This is only from what I've heard but I'm not shading Yuuki at all here??? Tone it down a couple notches, I'm just as excited about the possibility of Lycaon returning just as much as the next person. With the Eve and Yuuki release, I did think that he was possibly trying to pursue something else (perhaps the utaite part is incorrect, but I was thinking of solo activities?)
 
I also never said anything about Yuuki's vocal capability so outta here with your misguided understanding of my statement???

They are a heavier visual kei band, that has already formed a small but decent fan base internationally.
While I think their strong style will not be everybody's taste, I do believe they have a lot of potential.
I will also say that, if plans go ahead the first planned actions are a official Facebook in Japanese and English as well as organising to have their current releases avalible at least on iTunes

Mods, I apologise if this is the wrong place to post this. But seeing as it is not really a marketplace offer or ad I wasn't sure where it could go. Feel free to move it whereever but please make sure it's visible.
Here's the situation. Ikd-sj, a band I have been following for nearly 10 years with utmost devotion, has refused to sell their international fans an album they're only selling at gigs. Despite me practically begging for them to ship me a copy at 5000 yen -- FIVE TIMES the price -- they have outright refused to do it. Why? Because they're inbred.
I don't even fully understand their moronic logic. If overseas fans want it, why refuse to sell it? It won't affect their show numbers. Why would the Japanese give a shit if a CD is exclusive to them? Oh, Big Rabbit's new album is Australia exclusive, better attend their show.
Who is Big Rabbit? Who cares. Doesnt matter I just made the name up. The band is nothing in Japan and no weird deal will change that.
Their next show is yet to be determined. If you are or will be living in Tokyo this year and are willing to attend a gig to buy me a copy of this album, I will pay for your ticket, the CD, the shipping cost and an extra 30 USD for your troubles.
At this point I just want closure. I'm incredibly hurt and very bitter that they'd treat me this way after all the preorders I've provided and I'm not the only one. Hell, I even moderated their fan-forum. Which later became official before they abandoned it due to a lack of members.
Shit, I'd even pay you to leak the album on this very forum. I'm not the only fan who wants it. I'm just the only one who's doing anything about it. If an album is made to be heard it shouldn't exclude people from listening to it. Especially if they want to purchase it.
I'm begging the MH community to help me.

SuG - I was a fan, I bought every releases, even their first live DVD super limited or something (I can't quite remember today xD) and then I got bored, it went downhill, I sold everything. XD I continue to enjoy songs like Vi-vi-vi (so fun) and butterflY BoY but they are basically out of the map for me today. I even tried BLACK because everyone here was super hyped, and it did nothing to me (I should have post this in 'explain the hype' thread tbh). I did enjoy uwakimono's EP tho, it was solid. I really don't know what to expect from them and I don't want to bother.
 
Serial NUMBER - I gave up after I got my 01 teach album. They were one of my favourites, and this album and what come next was a huge disappointment. Plus, Kazune left and he was my favourite member ;-; and then everyone left yolo. I know they've kinda refined their sound on their two latest EP but still, it's not as appealing as before for me. Maybe their next album will fulfill my expectations? Otherwise, I'll just stick with my old stuff.
 
ゾロ (Zoro) - I was an fan, a late fan so I missed some limited releases but whatever, I managed to get everything until Core (included). Core was already so-so, and what come next was a giant wtf. I dropped Zoro. I still have an immense pleasure to listen to APOLLO, or COSMO. I still hate Tatsuhi, that will never change xD I can't stand this guy xD

deathgaze, they still have some amazing songs here and there but the rest is just headache inducing

i used to think holyclock was amazing but im too lazy to listen again and decide if they're actually good LOLOL
jinkaku radio's first album was amazing but everything i heard after was shit

DADAROMA. Ew, they stay in their comfort zone and don't give a crap about improvement. Their last release sounds exactly the same as the first one.
