I don’t expect to get it by Wednesday, but I’ll end up getting the iTunes release anyway because I won’t be able to wait.
-
He also mixed Vitium.
-
Let’s not forget DEG and Maximum the Hormone have both had songs used as anime openings.
-
When I rearranged the track order for Arche I put And Zero in the middle, but I was going for an old school LP vibe with a distinct side A and side B. I used And Zero to represent the break. Otherwise, And Zero should have openened the album followed by Vacant Image.
-
They both could have fit without breaking the 80 minute limit, but I guess they thought 18 tracks would be overkill. And they’re obviously not throwaway tracks because they’ve played them live.
-
Well he had nothing to do with the Ningen single, so who knows for sure.
-
For fuck’s sake, who are you talking about?
-
“LET US FUCK YOOOUUU!!!”
-
There was no production on Bottom of Chaos. Practically every song sounded different. DEG’s official YouTube channel just posted the shorter samples. The others were ripped from Tower Records.
-
Also that Cold Death 969 dude is literally all over every DEG video’s comment section. He’s that “they can do no wrong and Kyo is the ultimate vocalist” fan.
-
It’s okay because he’s also a bad person.
-
Do we even know who produced and mastered this album yet?
-
I love the melody in Followers, but goddammit Shinya you used that same drum pattern in Tousei and Behind a Vacant Image!
-
I can already tell Followers is gonna be my jam. Okay so between the shitty quality and half the snippets not giving much since they’re taken from the beginning of each song, I still don’t know what to expect from this album! that goofy ass rapping in Values of Madness though. Kyo wtf
-
Pretty sure those are just Shinya’s rototoms.
-
Okay just finished listening to Values of Madness and had to check and make sure it wasn’t 2002.
-
It’s scratch and sniff.

WtD and Marrow were both 50 minutes and the songs ranged from 2 and a half minutes to 5 minutes. Y’all need to chillllll. I seem to remember people being disappointed there were no epics on Arche even though the damn thing is 16 tracks and about 70 minutes. Maybe the Macabre remake was the be all end all of DEG monster prog songs.
-
Chedoara really works best when listened to as a whole. Maybe less than half the tracks can be played on their own, but stuff like Ambitious Principles and Mad [K] work better when you take in the whole album. I appreciate the SEs a lot more with headphones on.
-
Including Tidal? Because at the moment the only thing on there is Uroboros, Uroboros live at Budokan, DSS, and oddly enough the Different Sense single.
-
It’s kind of funny because very few people really seemed to be excited until recently. Maybe no samples was the way to go.
-
I was actually writing a review of Chedoara but I never got around to finishing it.
-
The multi-type release thing specifically feels like a bit of a rip off with DEG because they rarely offer anything you haven’t heard before. It was shocking that Arche actually had two extra tracks that were original compositions. The rest of that shit where they just plaster Kyo’s vocal track over a remix or what have you needs to stop. It’s so lazy. That unplugged version of The Final on Unraveling pisses me off. The instrumental sounds like it belongs in a Tim Burton movie.

Man I can’t read that!!!

You didn’t like Yoshu Fukushu?
