    Graphic DIZAIN is my passion
  2. zombieparadise

They look cool, but that production value ...
  3. zombieparadise

Love the whole black and white aesthetic of this album and the preceding singles. Hoping there's at least one nice shoegazy-whopper on this one!
  4. zombieparadise

Oh wow, did not expect to see any PIERROT songs on there. Was that common when we first went solo?
  5. Absolutely, heidi. cannot be ignored for their output and offering something original at these time (Even if Kasou and Innocence came out in 06 and 08') They were just as genre-defining as girugamesh and D'espairsRay were in their own right ; ) Seeing RES, D'espa, giru and BIS on this list makes me feel old, cranky and sad. I'm so stuck in nostalgia it's unforgivable. It's good to know at least 1/3 of these bands are still kicking though. I don't think Pura will ever die at this rate (and that's a god thing)
  6. zombieparadise

My thoughts exactly. 1 was so gross, the only listenable song for my was Siren. I LOVED 2 though, lots of memorable tracks there. I'm deciding to be cautiously optimistic about this 8 )

Sweet! Really curious what a full JILUKA album's gonna be like. Is it common for bands to release set lists before a show? Never heard of that before
  8. Looks like everyone agrees about this terrible name choice LOL Other than that – I am super excited to see this band materialize. Bring it on!
  9. zombieparadise

Holy shit! This is like, one of the best singles they've done in a while.
  10. zombieparadise

    That's disappointing

I'm late to this, but about time we get some good news in this scene, seriously. Hiatus, hiatus, disband, hiatus, disband, musical differences – Good on ya, lynch.!
  12. zombieparadise

News like this so soon after their last mini must've meant EMS sold well. I hope they take that as a cue that people prefer that style over their old shit and keep going in this direction.
  13. zombieparadise

Sweet! Figured this would be coming in the first quarter of the year. I'm going to have a hard time deciding between versions (Defs can't afford both at that price )
  14. zombieparadise

NOOOOOO D: I'm not up to date on anything, so I didn't see this coming. Shit!
  15. zombieparadise

Oh, this is sweet! I loved all his old solo works. My bet is on completely original material, with some possible infrequent Angelo covers as B-sides on some singles or something.
  16. zombieparadise

This band is like Angelo to me. Well known scene veterans, but with incredibly boring compositions. Everything sounds good by itself and you can't deny these guys are talented, but it's just so unmemorable. Something's missing.
  17. Great news! This is such a fun band.
  18. I love PIERROT, but Deg hasn't aged nearly as much as these guys have based on these samples lol
  19. I missed this – I really liked Yuuki's low-key mini albums previously, so this will be a nice addition to his work.
  20. Same. I loved the game and it just lost me over time with all the summoning, super long effects set in like 2 pt. type, 12 star synchro monsters, etc. I still come back to it from time to time but I'm not into the super overpowered OTK shit. I miss the good old days ) :
  21. Which one is the best? Up til' now I've only been playing whatever version came out on the PS4 back in 2014, but there's like no one on there.
  22. zombieparadise

All over, but no one at concerts strangely enough. Online usually I suppose. The weird thing is the amount of bands we've had here in AB and it still hasn't made a big dent or garnered interest. NoGoD, An Cafe, umbrella, NOIZ, and a bunch of VK indie bands, amongst other big acts like FLOW. It's super depressing actually. The people at these cons are usually all otaku, happy to be trapped in their anime abyss lol
  23. zombieparadise

I live in Alberta, and I like to think I pretty much know everyone here who likes VK that's over 20 (and there's not that many of us lol) Whether I actually like them or not, that's an entirely different story ; ) I have a group of about 6 friends that's into VK about as much as I am (mostly older bands, around the ten year mark) and have been for at least a decade, but it's hard to meet anyone new with the same interests in cowboy land, so I feel ya.
