I'm sold. Better sounding and more memorable than Utafumi already. Still not digging naked cannibalism practices, but that's just me ~~~

How'd I miss this? Ah! Suddenly I don't feel so ripped off over the new 'compilation' album either.
-
Oh man, this sounds so good. Their last mini was a blip on the radar, but I like the way these are shaping up.

Lame! I wanted BLOOD to be on a new album, really liked it's direction. SINNERS was pretty 'meh' to me. Disappointing!

Hm, it's no BITES THE BLACK, but it's not bad. Nevermind DEG, it kind of sounds like D tbh
-
Oh dexcore, I'm staggered to shit of a golden fish that begs on you.

I used to say 'one two oh one two' – But they were my (semi) first VK band so I think I get a pass. It's better than 'twelve thousand twelve' at least lol. Also, totally know what ya'll mean re: the D'espairsRay misnaming. Holy crap that made my OCD sensors sting.

I think it's a fair blanket statement to suggest that this scene attracts many 'damaged' individuals. I'll probably take heat for that, but it's so obvious. I like it for the music and 'originality' of it all personally. Looks are fun, but after listening to this shit for a decade I'm past the stage of imagining bandomen are my friends lol.

Couldn't agree more. It's almost comical when comparing D's looks to their talent. I think it's time for them to shed the VK and do something like, Buck-Tick or something. I'm inclined to looks like R-Shitei and DEZERT, but TZK's just... Uhhh...

If there was one reason to hate this scene, that would be it for me. That attitude reeks of desperation to me and it's so gross. Re OP: I think people like this band because other people like this band – that and 'edgy'-kei vibes. They're fun for a bit but get stale quick.

Man, if that isn't sad I don't know what is. Lukewarm comeback. Guess it's just proof that this current generation has no room for the sempai's of yesteryear.
-
I hope you're right. God, I hate jazzy VK so much O: Can't think of a jazzy cali≠gari tune off the top of my head, really.

DRESS(ED) please

Man, I feel bad for him. He's kicking a dead horse with this solo stuff. Maybe 'REBOOT' will be the fresh start he needs.

It's the ones at the anime con's you really have to watch out for. Every Q+A panel ever: "What's your favorite anime?" "Do you like (insert popular anime here)?" "If you were to cosplay as a character from an anime, what would it be?" "What's your favorite cosplay?" * Every 30+ year old bandomen ever: "Uhhh... I like dragonball" *Though I wouldn't consider these people VK 'fans'

Just got my copy today. I'm excited to see what's going on here ;P

I literally would have never stumbled across visual kei without access to illegally downloaded music in the 2000s. Since then, it's prompted me to buy the albums, DVDs, magazines, posters – You name it, of the bands I truly love. I've gone so far as to take trips around the world to various venues to see the bands I admire play in a live setting. In short, what led to a few stolen tracks in the beginning led to some eventual money (and full discographies) of the bands I support. The ones I don't like end up getting deleted sooner or later anyway. Us in the west and Europe simply don't have access to Japanese music the way those in Japan do. It would take an awful lot of convincing for me to shell out more than $20 on a CD for an unknown indie band if I hadn't a clue what they sounded like, never mind the exorbitant shipping costs on top of it. There would have to be some pretty reputable names attached to them for me to do something like that. This whole topic brings to mind the VK reselling scene. Stores like Closet Child, Pure Sound, etc. – You've got to wonder what the difference would be between paying a distributor for a used CD (of which I assume no money goes to the artist) and downloading an mp3 would be? In the end, it would generate a similar level of exposure, no?

Ah, this is great – I love Ryu's typography. Can't wait for this week!

I'm not the biggest An Cafe fan, but it always makes me warm inside seeing that they've released something new : 3

Enya definitely looks the coolest. Couldn't even tell that was Mao. Kind of strange for their to be a specific look for a session band – Methinks its the start of something bigger.

AHHHHH No thanks (#notoclowns)

Almost a month later and I'm still listening to Yuuki's acoustic rendition of Shouko. His voice seems even more polished and beautiful than I remember (Especially in Taion). I love Jinkaku Radio ~ <3

Omg Ryuutarou looks too cool – I think hearing Gentou Kikai and monophobia seals my decision for me.
