  1. A good amount of releases so far this month, but I feel like The Gallo took me by surprise and won me over with Diavolo (*_*)

    1. The Reverend

      The Reverend

      Hell yeah!

  2. Alright then. Disappointing but did like the idea of the end song being Dedicate to Graveyard (even if it was a given).
  3. Silverhawk33

    Wish I could've been there T_T

I thought the covers for all three best of albums had some pretty pretty artistic designs.

I enjoy both of the manga but overall I would defiantly pick One Piece.

Realistically, you are probably right, Sakito and Ruka love mixing random songs with the Nightmare albums along with the few off songs from the other members (which varies by quality) and that's not going to change soon. It's just something that I would like to see (MUCC's Karma being a prime example), but hey, as long as the album is strong and full of tracks that I can enjoy then all is fine in my eyes. Honestly, 16 years and counting with the fact that most of the members were still in high school when this band started is a feat to respect. I'm just happy to see this band so full of ideas and to see another long lasting visual-kei still doing well with sells (rather it's about the label or not). I'm honestly tired of the constant short lived bands in this genre, so seeing them lasting as long as they have while staying relevant is a nice change of pace for me.

I can defiantly understand how Rakuen had more strength than Awakening. I've been one of the few that actually really enjoyed the last two singles of Nightmare and thought that they were just quality songs all around. I feel like my opinion will change with how I compare those two songs once I hear Awakening b-sides (especially when the single comes out in a few days). I really do hope the imminent new album follows the sound of the melodic and string heavy songs such as Rakuen, empty and Awakening rather than Gotta Get a Ghost. But then again, I would just like a recent Nightmare album to have a strong theme with the instrumentals that makes it feel like all of the songs belong on that album. While the b-side tracks (like Gotta Get a Ghost and I'd imagine the upcoming Visual Kei is not dead) should have a different sound and direction that breaks them out of their comfort zone, thus why they're not on an album. I guess we'll see what happens eventually. Despite what people have to say about SCUMS, I feel like that album was the last one from them that had a somewhat strong flow and direction when in came to it's instrumental side.
  8. I kind of figured this would get such a mix reaction, but I'm defiantly on board with whatever these two are involved with, should be exciting. I know what you mean.
  9. So far, so good but gotta say that video was such eye candy.
  10. Mildly interested in the song. At least the video went nicely with their look.
  11. Might be my favourite cover from them yet.

SHAPE SHIFTER - 渇きの扉 It's incredibly catchy

I am a Hero and loving every bit of it. Really makes me wish we had an anime or even movie adaptation of it already. Just also started World Trigger and finally got back into One Piece. So much good stuff <3
  14. It would automatically be oni from Ganglion. She's just simply amazing <3
  15. Detective Conan cosplay?! I NEED to see this ._.

Just saw the PV and gotta say that the full song sounds a lot more impressive than the preview. In case people haven't seen it yet or don't want to download it, here's the youtube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3bCwuoHKTY Sorry, I must have not seen this originally. For me personally with the b-sides added to the albums, it would have to be a tie between Ultimate Circus and Nightmare's self-titled album. Those two albums pinpoint what Nightmare means to me and sound incredible and in their own unique way. Even besides those two, I feel like each album has it's own theme along with the passionate lyrics one can come to expect from them. It really shouldn't matter if music makes it to Oricon or not to decide if it's better. If you think it's a more enjoyable album, than good on you. If not, at least you have the earlier albums to praise (along with moving on with the many new bands coming out of the woodworks every week). I for one was split on that album for having a little bit of the best and unique tracks (not to mention some with strong lyrics even bashing their current label) along with some heavy filler tracks that one would sadly come to expect that brings the whole experience down and offsets the balance. So at best, it was a disappointment for me since I heavily enjoyed TBONTB and it's impressively varied instrumentation. Also have to mention that I never had a problem with Yomi's vocals for the most part and thought they were just fine with that album. BUT this crazy schedule of releases needs to stop and Yomi needs a hiatus as soon as possible, because it could get a lot worse for his vocals with the recent announcement of his Functional Dysphonia. Yeah it's good that he's getting some voice therapy, but it's a shame that they already have another tour next month with the given assumption that we will most likely get another album this year. Agreed, truly an unappreciated era nowadays. They're not the same re-recorded songs from last time. Dogma, Nadirecur, わすれな草 and the other two tracks have never been re-recorded in general and these songs even predate any of their studio albums. HISTORICAL~the highest nightmare had 12 re-recorded tracks that were from their studio albums (excluding Fly me to the Zenith) which are clearly different from these new re-recorded tracks. :/ If anything else, this Best Album has re-recorded tracks from the 'indie era' of Nightmare (NOT the studio albums like last time) along with remasters of the rest of the tracks (which can do wonders if remastered the correct way). These are far from the "exact same records" as you would like to believe. This Best Albums 'playlist' shares twelve songs from the HISTORICAL one. Twelve out of twenty-five. Along with those twelve songs being remastered. HOW is that the same playlist? Also, it's sad that you have to belittle the fans of this band just to get your point across. smh Again, they were never re-recorded (at least not since 2002), so I have no idea what your talking about. I really do wonder why you take so much time and hate to show off how misinformed you are about this band. It's high time for you to just move on already if it truly upsets you this much.
  17. Some top quality stuff there, as expected of them.
  18. Silverhawk33

B-side previews catch my interest more so than the single.
  19. Silverhawk33

I feel like recently all of the promising good bands are disbanding (more to come I imagine) with only the mediocre ones being left. It's quite sad really..
  20. Silverhawk33

Song sounds incredible and looks amazing with the video.
  21. Well that's a huge let down. I feared they would release a half-assed best album, just wish we had at least one new song at the end here. :/
  22. Silverhawk33

I love the band and I always thought they were underrated but I'm surprised that they lasted as long as they did. I just hope that last album will have new songs rather than just a simple "best of album".
