Hey. Welcome to MH. It's nice to see more gya on here. Our taste in music is quite different for the most part but I used to go see BFN and Zigzag has recently piqued my interest. Sadly I'm in northern Kanto and they don't seem to be playing in Tokyo any time soon but I might be making my way down to Osaka this summer.

I'm so looking forward to this.

The comment DVD is hilarious.

I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner. They've been fizzling out for years.

Last night was a lot of fun but I was kinda surprised that they didn't announce coming back from their hiatus. I'm sure they'll do another live similar to this one in a few months and make an announcement.... hopefully..... But regardless it was nice that they gave a "we're still alive and we're not going anywhere" live to keep the fans happy until they decide to come back. The flowers were pretty cool btw.

That came out of no where. I'm honestly shocked. It doesn't sound like the band is going anywhere but damn I'm upset about this.

Well, I hope Kou's vocal cords can handle two bands. Also having two band personas must be a pain in the ass.

Roji's art is just as beautiful as his English :') His English is up there in my favorites ever since the instore I went to. Btw, he's a lot more friendly than you made me think but it might be because I was a foreigner meeting him/the band for the first time. Next time I'll be sure to tell him you're my friend and see if that changes. haha Have you decided whether or not to tell him that he spelled drummer wrong? I honestly haven't given したいだけでしょ？ a proper listen until last week (even at the instore and they had it playing on repeat...) but I'm liking it a lot more now than when I posted in the Recommended Tracks thread. I still can't really get into 桜の街 even after 5 listens though, but overall I'm liking the single more than 死にたい. And I still like 気持ち悪いほど晴れた空をペンキで塗り潰した but not enough to make me cry???

I'm glad to see a full set finally made its way to YouTube and not just a song or half a song. Jojo is just as gross as I remember. haha The Wandy bit during Ho Tanchou made me lol but damn Ho Tanchou made me realize how much I miss Hikaru. It's not the same without him, and seeing Wajow in kamite is fucking weird. They're still killer live though.

@yakihiko - I like VRZEL. A friend of mine loves them so I've seen them live a few times. They're a band I like to go see but I don't have any of their music other than Dear Omen. I might look into them more since they seem to play with other bands I like pretty often. (I actually just saw them last week) And yes I do I'd like to add that since my previous post in I've come to like 螺子. DADAROMA's music is very hit/miss for me but like this song. Pretty cool stuff

@yakihiko - 今宵は鬱くしい was actually on the release they did with Shellmy so it's not a new song but iirc that single was only sold for a day? XAA-XAA is indeed addictive. They have a warning label attached to them for a reason. haha Anyway, I'm really liking 気持ち悪いほど晴れた空をペンキで塗り潰した off the album. It's my current jam. As for したいだけでしょ？, I like 悲しいなら手を叩こう, especially after hearing it play a million times at the instore I went to on Sunday, but overall this release is probably my least favorite from them.The other two songs are fine but I'm not really feeling them very often. As for THE GALLO's DIAVOLO, I'm still digging BELIAL, but I also like BEHEMOTH and LEVIATHAN. It seems I'm of the unpopular opinion when it comes to BELPHEGOR, I'm not really into it. I'm surprised no one mentioned Avanchick's new single. I must've listened to 他人の不幸は蜜の味 at least 200 times in the past week. I also got VRZEL's Dear Omen free CD and thought that was pretty cool.

@anakuro - Do look into Metronome, though I feel like they're the type of band you either love or hate because of Sharaku's voice. I recommend 三つ数えろ, Self Control, and ス・ペ・ェ・ス!ロマンチック to start off with (also 絶望さん if you're down for something pretty bizarre. haha) To get back on the subject of MJO, HaL's so dumb. I remember him crawling over the seats at Saitama Kaikan trying to get obvious non-fans to sing for him then falling to the floor like it was yesterday. :') Nothing wrong with working backwards! 反省しませう is Kibouya's best song honestly. The others aren't very memorable, at least to me. @yakihiko - I'm also in agreement about 犬or人間. It's definitely not the right song to get to know the band. On top of anakuro's suggestions I have one more I'd also like to mention that MJO has the best SE/stage entrance routine, another thing that got me into them.

BUCK-TICK - Kimi no Vanilla

I actually haven't gotten my ticket yet.... oops again. I'm really bad about getting tickets for lives when I'm not in Japan during the chikehatsu. I might hit you up re: yubin furikae. I did it once three years ago but it's all a blur at this point. As for what drew me to MJO, it was the catchiness of their music, their entrance, and their overall performance the first time I saw them in 2014. 自爆妄想, 改造人間にて and DIVE 4 U in particular drew me in and HaL's stage antics the second time I saw them sealed the deal. I grew to appreciate their music a lot more when you encouraged me to look into the lyrics. The contrast between the upbeat music and the depressing lyrics reminds me of Metronome (I like Metronome so that's a good thing), plus their music also has some elements very reminiscent of Kibouya Honpo (go figure haha) that I really like.

They're playing at the Terakoya event at Club Citta on the 24th with Ensoku and Sex Android and a bunch of other bands. It's gonna be a long day but I'm sure it'll be worth it. I was thinking if I have money I might head to Osaka for 5/22 but idk yet. And this thread reminds me I still need to do the yuubin furikae for their twoman with Urbangarde and the deadline is in 2 days. Oops.

BORN will forever be one of my favorite bands to see live. Such high energy, all of their fans are always really into it, and Ryoga is one crazy front man. I never had a bad experience seeing them, even the one time I cracked my rib on the front bar at Rock Maykan in 2013. haha I don't think any other band can fill the void they'll leave when they disband, for me at least. I'm personally a fan of Radical Hysteria even though they literally play it every time. So much fun. Shrive and Mosaic are also up there along with Demons. Also yakihiko, for some reason I can't open the message you sent me??
