Pic spam of some of my past pets... most of my pictures are on an older computer that I don't have access to at the moment.

Pursia liked to nap with my daughter in the afternoon and sleep with me at night. Sadly, Pursia was stolen when I moved in 2008. She was a lynx point Siamese mix. <3

 

Tobias is Pursia's brother. This picture was taken by my daughter while he was napping in his favorite hiding spot. XD


Their son Tobias Jr, AKA TJ. He was the runt of the litter and grew to be a big fat 20-pound beast with a human toe fetish! My daughter used to use him as a pillow... he was always gentle and understanding with her (and everyone, actually). He was born on my bed (Pursia wouldn't let me leave her) and died outside in his sleep. ;_;




Moon is Pursia's daughter from the same litter as TJ, but i think they have different fathers. She was the only cat to stay with me when I moved, although she had disliked me prior to the move. As you can see she had a growth on her head, however it wasn't the cause of her death in October 2011; she was fed poisoned food when she snuck outside. She was the first pet I saw die violently... I went without pets for a long time because my heart couldn't handle it. I still get sad looking at Russian Blues with socks and bib marks.



I rescued Khaleesi from the pound after Moon's death. Khaleesi loved to attack my feet in bed and insisted on cuddling with me under the covers. Sadly, a former friend stole her while I was once again moving. The police said that there was no proof that I didn't just give the cat away (as my former friend was claiming), so there was nothing they could/would do. Apparently she has been renamed Buttercup.


I think this is the first time I posted a picture of my daughter where you can see her face, but this is my absolute favorite shot of Berry the betta (he died Jan 1, 2008). We had just gotten him home. The other fish to peacefully share the tank with him were: Zomboid the Yoyo Loach, Saku the orange Balloon Molly, Kodou the black Balloon Molly, and Kodou the Yoyo Loach (named by my daughter after the Mollies died).

Mouse! Really not sure what I could say about her other than she loved to slither through hair.
 

This here is Pyscho, AKA Pyschobabykins. He "belongs" to my best friend, but he's my honorary kitty. He was a stray that just adopted my best friend's house (and neighborhood). He has a stubby tail and originally came with a baby-pink diamond-studded collar. XD I have some scars from him scratching me and I'm sure I'll get even more in the future as he's aptly named. <3 I love him just as he is.

Our youngest cat died last Thursday. It's still hard not to hear her whenever you open the fridge or not having her cuddle up to you when you're behind the computer.

With her, we've lost 5 pets (2 cats, a dog, a fish and the bird) in a year.

Hey dog ppl!

 

Do you have any ideas on how to get a reluctant dog to fetch? I mean, my dog is a fucking genius. She only a year and a half old and already knows a ton of really useful commands (not circus tricks though), like left, right, stop, lie down, wait etc. And she's so bright that I'd like to compete with her.

 

The only problem is that um... she doesn't know how to fetch. Like, she has the usual "hunting instict" that she'll go after a moving object, but as soon as the object (whether it's a ball or a stick or a plush toy) stops moving, she loses interest. Sometimes she takes the object into her mouth, but leaves it halfway. If I bring out treats she'll forget the object instantly and come for the treat. 

 

If anyone has any ideas on how to get her to fetch, I'd be happy. :'D

I don't think I have shown my baby on this thread before? Twix is almost 2 years old, mixed breed. Other breed is pretty much European Shorthair, her father's breed is unknown. She and her mom, Napsu (my sister's cat) looks pretty much identical. But anyways, this is my sweetie:
