most bands go to EU, because it's pretty much grown customary to do so. So i can def imagine D doing a europe tour. Europe is an extremely easy place to tour with not much trouble, but then practically no bands (only the daring) tour the states. it kinda sucks, but it's expected.

I think getting an entertainment VISA in the US is pretty difficult. From what I remember DespairsRay ran into some VISA issues right before their US tour. Doing a one time show at an anime convention I assume you wouldn't need a VISA since it's just a one time thing but a tour would probably require a VISA and a bunch of bureaucratic bullshit you have to sift through. Then I believe there's also a bunch of obnoxious taxes that follow through but this is all information I picked up from other people that may or may not know what the fuck they're talking about.

Really tempted to fly there to see them...if i had that cash....

@Arithmetica: quick google lead to this http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index ... 245AANcbSi

It doesn't seem that hard as long as they have sponsors in the US, i could be taking the info wrongly but that's what it seems like to me, So im guessing they have a US label now, or applied along time ago.

a lot of the time, it's not really hard to get visas especially for visits and such. The only difficulties I've really heard of, was the cancelled Clash Against Commercialism show a few years back in which 12012 was supposed to perform. This was mostly due to managements fault of being lazy bastards and not even bothering until the last minute. It's a process, but it's not impossible and nowhere near RIDICULOUSLY difficult.

yeap, applying VISA for U.S.A is hard if you're Asian/ South East Asian. Unless the applicants meets every requirements, to step foot in U.S.A is unlikely.

I have personal experience with this when i tried to submit some VISA for our office's interns.

Boy, that was a lot of works!

And if for personal, say family members, one must have at least $ 1.000.000 worth of insurance and bank account before they can be sponsor for their family to visit U.S.A

Since the government would not want to responsible for non citizen if they're fall sick, injured, etc. It's hard enough to manage Americans already.

and for the visitor, they must have prove that they will go back to their home country. That means they must own a house in their home country, a job that requires dedication, and again, some amount of insurance and bank account. They wanna make sure that visitor will not be run away after VISA expires and become an illegal imigrants.
