Shaolan974 6185 Posted June 14, 2013 This is pretty unexpected...I think he wants to work on his solo project.
miyuu 40 Posted June 14, 2013 i know it's random and maybe wrong i have no clue about ayabie but when vkei artists cut their hair like that and change style like i randomly saw he did. i always think they want to work somewhere else outside vkei or get married. i should have guess it from the haircut and facial hair.lol half joking
nekkichi 6043 Posted June 14, 2013 ^ that sounds pretty accurate. I didn't recognize him on the last band promo shoot & he's either getting married or moving to mainstream gayporn with that beard tbh
susel 31 Posted June 14, 2013 ^ guys, this is not your average jrocker this is KNZ He pulled off facial hair and short hair before and rocked blue eyshadows and red lipstick right after that. as for the news I'm only surprised by the fact that he and Chun will be separated. Can't wait to see who he will team up with.
Daggi_X 2 Posted June 14, 2013 Well that sucks for the band and I certainly did not see that coming. At the same time, I'm pretty excited to see what he's going to do now.
aiyuurika 5 Posted June 16, 2013 i just thought ayabie not suit him
No.47 22 Posted June 17, 2013 Damn I didn't see that coming. I wish Kenzo the best with everything. I always thought Kenzo was too good for this band. Like I always picture him to be in a heavy metal band or drumming for non VK bands.
nekkichi 6043 Posted June 17, 2013 he had enough time to make a career in a better band. he never did. and ayabie been just fine (been the finest, if I may) without a full-time drummer at all.
Peace Heavy mk II 7200 Posted June 17, 2013 I don't believe the concern was that he had facial hair so much as him having a stark contrast in appearance from the rest of the band, then in their last group photo he looked like they all posed around him as a prank. I'm not even a fan of this band and I could tell he seemed out of place.
Augie1995 325 Posted June 17, 2013 Kenzo was always out of place in this band. He was huge contrast between himself and the rest of the members. The difference between them was noticeable, but, even more so drastically once Ayabie became AYABIE
lichtlune 915 Posted June 17, 2013 I thought i read somewhere that he's retiring? i guess its false or that information hasn't gotten here yet.
Velovelo 18 Posted June 17, 2013 I'm not very surprised, actually. He's been in this "scene" and band for almost eight years. People tend to grow tired of getting pigeon-holed into scenes, and considering that, he was adamant enough to keep going longer than I expected he would. For example, the VK scene started to turn me off three or four years ago, so I don't dig into it that much anymore. He may either just need a break for himself or do something completely different. But I can completely understand his probable distain towards the scene and its conventions. That being said, I am still negatively surprised with "older" bands like GazettE keeping up their charade to their fans. I guess it feels like shit to be forced to not evolve or change as a person because the japanese public majority wants you to be a static, non-innovative but adorable idol. It's good that Kenzo stepped out. If he needs a timeout, I can perfectly understand it. Must be awful to perform generic songs for so many years of your lifetime. bakteeri 7 Posted June 18, 2013 what's up with people talking like vk-scene is a terrible mental prison that withers your soul? 1 PumpkinPatches reacted to this

I'm totally expecting him to show up in a non-VK band sometime in the near future lol
