it's kinda obv. he's not releasing this in summer because white girls are spending all their money on frappuccinos through may to late august & no one will bother buying CD  now except for his last 20 japanese stans.

Augie's correct. The album will be released in Japan and on Japanese iTunes on 19.06.2013, but the album will be released in other countries both physically as digitally in October. I wonder why only October, considering they probably don't have to translate much lyrics (seeing as as far as I heard from the previews everything is in English). Then again, I don't really know the process of something like this.

 

Sometimes, the time depends on the lyrics translation, but also the creation of a different booklet and most likely the process of having to create even more copies to distribute to stores around the world in major cities and such.. I'm guessing here though haha

 

Anyways, I'm just hoping that I get to listen to the new album soon. It came out yesterday so I have my fingers crossed for it to show up soon!

International release of MIYAVI’s self titled album “MIYAVI” is scheduled to start in October 2013 in the European countries(UK, France, Germany, etc), and Asian countries (Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, etc), both Physical and Digital, which will be followed by release in the South and North American countries!

 

Actual release dates are TBC.

 

The album will not be available on iTunes and other digital platforms outside of Japan until the official release date of the album for each countries/regions.

I saw that yesterday floating around that explains it. 

 

My best guess is that maybe they release it in different regions closer to when his international tour may be? He may be touring in Asia and EU in or around October and maybe the Americas in November. That would make the most sense to me anyways... Guess we wont know til something is announced.
