He should have sing his own songs, no matter how bad it is. And save this idea when he's already got say 4-5 solo albums and feel bored with it. One just rarely to excel in this career just by singing cover songs, look at those wedding singers for instance LOL Well just my 2 cents, and i wish him good luck.
