Yukimoto reacted to Tetora in レイヴ-RAVE- new maxi single "有頂天バブル(uchouten bubble)" release
I am not a big fan of what they have been doing lately.

Their songs are a little shallow to me, and a lot of their music is a complete copy of BugLug.

This song is HicchakaxMecchaka with little changes and a different tempo, plus other BugLug styles.

They should be themselves more, I don`t see the point in being similar to a band that is currently far more skilled in musicianship, song-writing and on a much better label then them, if they don`t offer something different.
I think they could be a good band if they did their own thing more and grow as that.

No offense intended to fans, just my thoughts.

    Here is BugLug for comparison:

Yukimoto reacted to Seimeisen in the GazettE new album "DOGMA" 8/2015 release
Official details on the album release: PROJECT DARKAGE
    Summary:
Special limited edition is ¥10,800. It has the main album, two DVDs (one of them only having one music video, the rest having other stuff, so kind of unnecessary), and two A4 sized books.
Second DVD has a 13th anniversary documentary, DEUX music video, OMINOUS lyric video, making of “DOGMA” (music video), and all the album trailers. One of the A4 books will be a photo book, the other will just have a bunch of text.
Not-special limited edition just has one DVD with a DOGMA music video, for ¥4,320. Regular edition has nothing special and is ¥3,300.
    My thoughts:
Since there will be a lyric video for OMINOUS, it looks like it won’t be some outro track. We haven’t had an album end with an actual song since DIM; looks like one of my wishes will be coming true. ;D
Also, I don’t think the GazettE has ever made a title track for an album.
I think the prices are pretty ridiculous. I think the only one that’ll be worth the money is the super expensive one, actually, so I’m saving up for that one.
And what would a Seimeisen post in the news section be without artwork?

lmao that's the entire point, it is the first visual kei album teaser ever featuring team and effort that went into production.
I was quite pessimistic about dogma, and there's probably gonna be a shit ton of filler anyway, but aesthetics wise it's a perfect VK album for 2015.
I can't believe how much effort sony is putting into selling a local Japanese act of this scale atm.

Seriously, these guys know how to deliver addictive songs.
I wasn't hyped by the previews but dammit, the whole songs are fantastic, I just want to put on repeat. I still have a personal preference for Supernova/ALIVE tho.
If they keep going with this pace, the next album will be a 100% must-have.
    Well done.

I know it's not the right topic since it's their previous single but I must admit "Alive" was exceptionally good to me too I played it alot when i first heard it.

The Beginning is a good song and really catchy for sure. I think I would say it was the best on that single.

Artist: Royz Single: THE BEGINNING 1. THE BEGINNING 2. 0 3. umbrella. 4. THE BEGINNING (ins.) 5. 0 (ins.) 6. umbrella. (ins.)
Rating: | The beginning of something good.

Knowing very little about Royz before the release of this single, I had precious little by which to gauge my excitement. I had listened to their album, "Core," back in October and thought it was decent and showed promise. Then their single, "Supernova," and it's B-side, "Alive," really blew me away. So, I guess one could say that I was pretty excited even though I wouldn't consider myself a big fan of the band. Recently, the influences of the electronic genre have pervaded almost every visual rock band in the scene and it's been a pretty divisive issue. Nonetheless, if a band blends the perfect amount of hard rock with their electronic beats, I'm going to be a fan.

"The Beginning" is an interesting one, for sure. It's quite different from not only other Royz songs, but from a lot of modern pop/rock-esque songs. It blends together a few different genres to ultimately come up with one of the catchiest rock songs of 2015 so far. This band tends to work exceedingly well as a machine of fun, post-hardcore numbers with incredible rhythm and "The Beginning" is no exception. The one possible downfall of the song is the awkward-to-annoying introduction, but once that chorus hits, you will forget about any prior mess.

Oftentimes, the B-Sides make or break the single. If you didn't enjoy the song the band is promoting, well here's something else to make you feel better. For instance, "Alive" was much better than "Supernova." On this single, the B-sides were great compliments to a great promotional single. "0" was along the same lines as most of their recent work: uplifting, fun to sing along to, and great to just lose yourself in. "Umbrella" was a bit more subdued than the previous two songs. Mid-tempo ballad range, to be exact. Subaru's voice really carries well in this song, especially the chorus, where he displays a lot of personal emotion. One of their better composed and arranged tracks. The final track, "Heil," is exactly what I thought it would be. Heavy, fast-paced, and hard-hitting. The beat is incredible and the energy isn't misplaced at all. The only true con of this number is that the melodies Subaru has created aren't exactly strong. It works with the nature of the song, but he's definitely done better.

All in all, I feel like if you want to check out this band and haven't already, I would start with their album "Core" and work from there like I did. It sets up expectations for their career in a much more realistic way.

@Ender you chose alot of songs that I kind of fell in love with this month<3. The Geek Sleep Sheep - Feedback video I know it maybe not to much going on but camera movement but I thought it was pretty Epic looking at it first time around and Amazarashi I loved the acoustic album.

@shaneth Royz - the beginning I thought was really good too glad you posted it and YESSSSSSSH Sadie - Voyage I'll miss them I thought that was a good last single all around at least for now I can't wait for them to come back. I mean they have too!!! RIGHT?
@Seimeisen was it hard to choose your favorite of Avelcain's - Omajinai I mean everything was good, like always, but I think I have to settle for Oyasuminasai since I'm always a sucker for the slow ballad type songs, but glad its up there

@Beni the whole Chanty album I thought was pretty good but I guess I never went back to choose a favorite. Guess I should give it a try again, but I liked the whole album as a whole.
