  like it kind of floats to the background and is light compared to the other vocals in the songs. I was sure if it was them or not. still great either way.

  and if you're meaning what i'm thinking, then it's just that the main phrases are single takes, that come from the center, the response-phrases are recorded twice, with one put to the left one to the right, to get a stereo effect. that's pretty common tho... (that's what is done with rhythm guitars too...)
