i have exactly zero interest in what others decide to do (or not do) with their money, but just try going out there and declaring that with a straight face. that's akin to reassuring yourself that Trump is the best thing that will ever happen to the rights of marginalized people because all the reprehensible things he has said/done/will do indirectly promote solidarity among said groups.

Well, you can't be real proffesional when it's your hobby, especially when you have full time job and the hobby takes a lil bit of free time.
 
I also absolutely hate when people say "art is for free" nonsence. Why the hell should it be for free? It's a work, no matter what is it, hobby or full time job. And if it not distributed free, it's not free just because it is music.
Why there's so much difference for people in material and digital things? I can't steal a car, because I'll go to jail, but I can steal music, movies and books because they are digital? And both car and music were made by someone, i.e. somebody put their time, resources and effort.
 
I understand that it's impossible to buy everything. But there are so much people here who didn't buy a single release. I don't think they really care about any artists.

i thought the first half of the album was pretty bad, but the second half had some nice tracks. other than their single A-sides (all of which i love), DATURA and ギフト were the only tracks that i really enjoyed from the album. maybe my expectations were too high this time haha. i still think they have enough potential for me to continue following them though

well i hope you get to see them one day!!
anyway it's nice  to know another purple stone fan on MH yayy (and feel free to drop by their artist thread) 💖

i love all kinds of sound effects being used in all kinds of musical contexts haha
and i wish! only visual bands i've seen live were chanty and meteoroid when they came to tulsa (soooo good)

hahaha i think you might be the first person i know who actually likes it (personally i'm neutral). their music is really good though, have you seen them live? ^^

@hiroki haha fair enough. I used to go by myself a lot, but then my friend came to Japan and now I don't have to ^^ so it's hard to go back to that I guess lol I guess I should buy more cheki.. I usually only buy a few, but at one Tra live I bought 10 and that's when the shikiri approached me LOL the number of cheki you buy equates to your band loyalty I guess?? lolol but now Tra's cheki are all preorder so idk how that will affect things...

@echoohh well then that makes sense. idk i've tried asking some friends but no one ever seems interested in my bands haha so i'm used to going alone XD as for making friends with bangyas... it depends on the band really. some can be rather clique-ish; others less so. i don't randomly approach ppl but i've made quite a few friends exchanging chekis hahaha (they're usually happy to find that i'm as insane as they are)
 
i haven't been to a taiban where i'm not at least vaguely interested in half the lineup so i can't say. i guess my taste fits right into one of the more conventional brackets within vk? when it's the turn of a band i don't care for i'll just go grab my drink lol

@hiroki because going alone sucks T_T I've been going with my friend for the past.. year? so having to go alone after having gone with a friend will feel so... lonely? idk I don't like approaching people T_T *is super awkward* Have you successfully made friends with random bangya??
