but yes, vistlip's music speaks to me on a level unlike any other band i've heard. maybe it's my bias or something but i actually don't find their music that similar to unite (who's also a great band in their own right).

I should be able to make it too, im in japan around that time for sibilebashir last live. going to be busy and sad couple of days.

Instead of their upcoming mini album, they will now release their first and last full album  "Axkey" (2 types, 3000 yen each).

I like both, but I like vistlip more than Unite because vistlip was one of the first VK bands I ever actively followed and listened to. Despite not knowing Japanese, there's something about vistlip's lyrics and the way Tomo sings that just resonates with me, especially when I read translations. They have such variety in their career that I'm pretty sure everyone can find an enjoyable song by them. Their most recent releases haven't been as good as the ones from several years ago, but they still have that distinct, vistlip style that I love. They're really something special.

CLØWD new live limited single "21g" (Nijuu-ichi gram) will be release on 2018.01.08 at their 3rd ANNIVERSARY LIVE 「REVENGE」 at TSUTAYA O-WEST.
Single will contain 2 songs (included "21g") and will cost 1000 yens.

masaya (ex-BLESSCODE) live-limited single "星に願いを…" will be released on 2018.01.07 at his solo event at Hiroshima Magical Square. Tickets are 2000 yen each, and  copy of the single will be enclosed when entering the venue.

that's true that it's realistic, but it being realistic doesn't take the shock or distraught away from fans nor does being realistic exempt you from being a dick. So saying it with the tone of "obviously it will happen, you should've expected this. Get over it" is really shitty for fans who were supporting them and really didn't see this coming (like I said, this one in particular seemed really sudden and out of nowhere). It's especially shitty to be told something like that if you are emotionally invested in the band and are hurting from this announcement.
So yeah, maybe you weren't intending to be a dick, but you certainly came off as one.
 
And yeah, we all know that VK is unstable, but you can't really assume that all bands decide to disband cos they suddenly lost motivation. There are many factors that as fans, we can never and will never know. Plus, Lux hasn't posted any information about it other than their last live details so there are even more unknowns than usual.

^ probably the best / most touching live report i've ever read.. i was reminded of so many of my own experiences and how much i'd cry and/or appear ridiculous for bands i fucking love T____________T i don't think i'd ever be able to describe the emotional turmoil as well as you do, so thank you <3

So he's officially in Lux but was also support drumming for other bands to improve his skills, and now he's saying he's done with the support drumming which means his focus is only on Lux?

mio is saying that he intends to pause support activities after the upcoming one. he also explained why he's been doing support activities even though he's now in a formal band. and the reason is because he feels like he has room to improve and even though some people might think it's disrespectful to lux for him to play support drums for another band/session, he wants the opportunity to improve his skills until he's satisfied with them, as he wants to be praised as a good drummer and not (just) someone who's hot.
