No where in my previous post did i even begin to mention so started what first. I had no idea who this band even was until they came up on my random playlist and I was like "hey - I speak their language, wtf" and I still have no idea if V.K is even a thing in China.

Who would have thought that Chinese folk of all people would copycat Visual K In China its more about hiphop, rnb and pop. there are some rock bands but metal bands are such an underground thing in China. One of the problems being is that 99% of performers are promoted as solo artists rather than bands. it was only around the early 80s and late 90s where being part of a pop or rock band was more of a thing. China does have many metal bands but due to the media & the culture not many of them make it to the top.

This song is so emotionally gripping, Ive been listening to it all day at work and I cant stop. I think this song has MANY meanings. But it paints an image in my head of maybe someone who is fighting a losing battle against a terminal disease but yet has so many regrets and maybe somehow tries to make right his wrongs before he passes. He desperately wants to live on but he knows that theres no way out. Hence the lyrics "Here today and gone tomorrow, Hope that there's just some other way out..." what an amazing masterpiece of a track.

Not quite - I listen to more or less the same stuff too. but the difference is im vastly more open minded when it comes to music, 99% of the stuff she listens to is from the U.S. - Not exactly a bad thing as metal is something the U.S. seems to do quite well in most cases but the world is a huge place. full of diversity and MUSIC is the one 'language' in this world where you dont need to understand or 'know' it to really enjoy it. I guess im lucky in a sense as I am a musician and I play multiple instruments. I might not be as skilled as some of the best musicians out there but having been taught how to play an instrument at a young age as well as studying music in highschool and playing for a few various local bands in my youth you could kinda stay that I have a deeper understanding and appreciation of whatever sort of music I listen to and its because of this that I'm able to be more diverse in my own tastes and even find electronic music enjoyable.

If anyone wants to hear a band that has a lot of 'HaMC feel' Foreground Eclipse comes REAL close but i cant remember if they do the soft and mellow soft rock/ballad side also. Think of it this way.... Its what HaMC could have been post swampman had they not decided to split. Yuusuke's screaming vocals needed to be a little more refined and things probably would have sounded better. Less raw and 'angsty'
