Muma reacted to Aferni in Goodbye.
First off, I'd like to say thank you all at Monochrome Heaven for all the kindness you've shown to me, even though I haven't been here long. It's been loads of fun here, but I must go for personal reasons. Alot of things have changed drastically for me,so i'd like to say Goodbye. I'm not sure if I am coming back or not. It depends on where ever I end up I guess. I'll miss you all, especially you Tetora.
Sincerely , Aferni.

Muma got a reaction from clear1985 in What are your favorite manga?
Is there any particular type of manga you like reading?
More on the horror side, I guess some things by Junji Ito especially Gyo, and by others there's Gantz, Hideout and Terra Formers (although i've not caught up and it's not finished, I appreciate the amount of research gone into it). And there's also works by Kago Shintaro
Don't know how to describe these, but of things like Oyasumi Punpun and Eden: It's an Endless World. Kind of have melancholic themes runnign through an average persons head. Eden is slightly less 'normal' due to the post-apocalyptic theme.
Don't know if I described these right but yeah > < i'll elaborate if you want when i'm less tired and more eloquent
Then there's the shonen-ai section with Let Dai.
Made me cry so much you have no idea, I had to leave it a month before I could finish the last three volumes
I guess bigger ones could include One Piece, Fairy Tail, Claymore and of course, the new star, Toukyou Kushu xD

Muma reacted to togz in Maybe not so much of a goodbye
I know I just recently became active here... and it has been really great so far....
However, recently a lot of things have been going on in my life, and for personal reasons i won't be able to be here for a while.
I could be gone anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 months.
Thank you everyone and I hope i can come back in a much better state of mind.
I may still lurk from time to time, just because i'm curious about all of you. creeper game is real.
Until then. Will miss you.

Muma reacted to Bear in Prog band suggestions
I'm way late to the party, but a few recommendations that I personally enjoy a lot. No idea if any of these are what you're looking for, though. I'm not into much wanky prog music so that's not what you'll find here.
Devil Doll - Devil Doll was a symphonic progressive rock band that mixes prog rock, prog metal, avant-garde, goth rock, metal and more. One of the most unique and original bands ever. Very theatrical and dramtic music topped by Mr. Doctor's amazing sprechgesang. Brilliant band. Long, long songs. Shortest song are 20 minutes long, so we're talking about a band with long compositions. One of my all-time favourite bands.
Goblin - Legendary Italian progressive rock band which are famous for their soundtracks to classic horror films such as Dawn of the Dead, Suspiria and Deep Red among others, as well as other non-soundtrack albums. Another brilliant band. Seeing Claudio Simonetti's Goblin in some weeks. I'm really looking forward to that.
Arcturus - These guys started off as a symphonic/atmospheric black metal band but got more progressive with each release. The second album, La Masquerade Infernale, is a tivoli-like avant-garde album, but it gots lots of grim vocals so I guess that's not your cup of tea. The third album however is almost free of black metal and has more of a "outer space"-influenced sound. Their fourth, and so far last album, is a lot less metalesque and moe dreamy. I love all the albums. Fantastic live band too. And they seem to be comming with a new album in 2014.
Morte Macabre - Progressive rock band that covers songs from well-known horror films, and they're characterised by excessive use of mellotron and synthesizers. With members from the Swedish prog masters Anekdoten. Lovely band, especially for a horror freak such as meself.
Nicklas Barker - This is the solo roject of Nicklas Barker of Anekdoten and Morte Macabre. He's only released one album as far as I knowand that is El Último Fin De Semana, a soundtrack to a film with the same title. Horror prog rock. The way I like it.

Muma got a reaction from nick in TADAIMA~
So yeah, I wonder if any of you guys still remember me > <
It shouldn't take too long to get back into the habit of the daily MH check again
Good to be back
Hopefully this will kickstart a j-music trend again in my listening... My ability to tell the difference between various indie bands while on shuffle songs is dulling xD

Muma reacted to otterley_ in Art Cube wants you to show your support
Not sure if I should post this to minor news thread, anyways...
Z is asking people to send him a mention via twitter saying where are you from and that you want Art Cube to tour your continent.
He specifically says Europe but I think it is ok to other continents do it too.
Not sure if this is the right time to this, Art Cube popularity seems to have dropped to ground on the last two years but who knows?
His twitter is: https://twitter.com/artcube_z
I don't use twitter so I have no idea on how this works.
