  1. I think there isn't already a topic about it, at least I didn't find...

    Whatever:

Mosh pit is a very common thing at metal shows in some places, and there are people who enjoy it a lot and people who think it's stupid (and I get why). Personally I enjoy joining mosh pits (in my country it's often called "roda punk" (something like "punk circle" lulz)), for me it's a funny thing.

What do you guys think about it?

  2. I love ZION and Apocalyze. Always headbang hard to them. I think they are a powerful band with a strong sound, I hope to see them live someday. I wanna try the wall of death, it seems sick 8D

  3. Right now the logical part of my mind and the metal fan part are discussing if I should try and accept BABYMETAL or still say they are not really metal. There are no rules for making any kind of music, but I still don't feel comfortable with BABYMETAL way of making music cause it's not what metal bands have been doing through decades. It's not the way metal always been. I don't know dude, I'm kinda confuse now XD

  4. I don't read manga for months now, but there's a list of mangas I like:

Gantz (that ending was disappointing, but the whole manga was badass at least XD)

Bleach (I kinda have a emotional connection with it)

    Naruto (same as Bleach)

One Piece (actually I only read some volumes of it, I prefer the anime)

Pokémon Adventures (I love Pokémon, and this manga is just perfect till the Silver/Gold/Crystal saga ends)

Dragon Ball (a classic, I started reading it cause a publisher in country is publishing it again. Unfortunately I didn't buy some edition and now I'm stuck with my reading since I don't like online reading anymore... But I'm gonna buy the editions I don't have XD)

Toriko (dude that is insane, I like it)

High School of the Dead (just because I liked the anime and now the Full Color Edition is being published here)

Fairy Tail (so much feels dude)

Air Gear (I still gotta read it to the end, the art is just badass)

Astral Project (the time I read it, was a great thing for me)

    Bakuman (fucking loved it)

Maybe there are other mangas I like but I don't remember now.

air gear manga is so awful D; almost that awful as kenichi. though, AG anime was pretty cool.

Totally the opposite LOL I first read the manga, then I got to watch the anime and only liked the opening theme. BACK-ON is cool~

  5. Oh wait. I was called a hater? But I don't hate them, just don't like the way their music is produced LOL I think haters are those guys who are all "this is totally crap, no one should ever listen to this, who listens to this is stupid" and this is not what I'm saying.

  6. Getting back to discussion: I don't like them most because of the way they're doing "METAL", and not just random music. I don't care much for pop music and other genres, so pop artists can do whatever they want, it's a totally commercial genre anyway. Just take a look on all the huge world metal scene, the big bangs, the history of metal, the origins. BABYMETAL is lame when trying to be metal. Their sound is metal, ok. There are talented artists behind it, ok. But there isn't a group of people trying to make metal because they love music, they just want to sell. Metal isn't about selling. Ok, metal bands still have to sell their stuff to survive in music industry, this is no mistery. But the actual metal bands are not only about this. While all I see in BABYMETAL is a selling machine. If a band is trying to play metal but the members don't write their own stuff and just want the money, they're not metal. I hope I made my point clear in what I don't like about BABYMETAL. I know I maybe said something that was already discussed on this topic, but I am just saying what I think (even if nobody cares. Although I think someone will quote me and try to convince me the opposite)

  7. I'm just saying their concept does not fit metal. For me metal should break chains and free minds, I think I already said it. If they sound great, then great. I already listened to some white metal/metalcore bands and liked what I heard, but because of what they talk about I didn't dig them. I care about it because I think the world would be better without religion and am what some people may call a metalhead (I don't really see me as a true metalhead, but whatever).

I think we shouldn't talk more about this here, it's becoming off topic. If you want to ask me something else, feel free to do it but not on this topic, since it's about BABYMETAL and not white metal bands and some dude who is against it all XD

  8. Would you care to elaborate this statement, and what exactly you mean by it?

You mean the white metal part right? I have some vision issues (I should get glasses lol), but If I'm right you quoted it and made it bold.

What I mean is that I think metal should not spread religion. It should break chains that bound people, and not create more. Some days ago I was thinking it's kinda paradoxal/hypocrite my way of thinking, cause this way I'm taking away freedom from people who want to spread religion through metal at the same time I want to give freedom to people through metal. Well, whatever, I still stand against religion spreading.

  9. Oh boy....humanity is so predictable. A I really the only one who can't do anything with this fake idol crap? There's a pop label forcing these girls into groups, with no regards of their actual knowledge about anything they will do. BABYMETAL is a fabricated pop group supported by heavy guitars. No more. What is great about this? Oh wow they're awesome...besides the fact that none of them had any idea of metal when they started out. How difficult is it to do this kind of thing if the only thing you have to do yourself is hitting the right tone? Like already said, it's PURE sellout. All about it. Cute little girls doing metal, random music, random music videos, super random member names. (...)METAL, (...)METAL and (...)METAL, really???

These band photos make me sick, too. As if these encounters with Kerry King and co. "just happened" like that. Is it still great to imagine such a meeting if you know deep inside that also this was fabricated all through?

If this is what VK is trying to do since 2007, then I'm damn glad letting it go. At least to me there's more to music than pure catchiness and famewhoring. And BABYMETAL really kill the idea of metal. Luckily they're all 16 soon and this project will most likely be abandoned to make room for something else.. maybe collabo with kiaryu pamyu pamyu or whatever

I second all said here by DogManX. BABYMETAL is not really "metal", cause it kills the real idea of metal. (same for white metal bands, that's not actual metal)

And I'm not saying it HAS to be produced in some way and only in that way. I just prefer that way.

And I'm talking only about music. Other kinds of media have their own purpose.
