I checked out all the other band battles, I think this is the first VK band vs indie band type. It is more likely for the Mejibray haters + "indie bands are better" mentality to outweigh the Mejibray hardcore fangirl/boy-ism. Plus the effort in the visual aspect isn't really considered.

I don't mind negative talk as long as it actually has reasonable arguments. Disappointing releases for example. It irks me that some people linger on a thread for the sole purpose to shit talk and don't even have any genuine interest with the artist. Heck some people actually post music they don't like ... makes no sense smh

Point 1: Czarface is a group for seasoned hip-hop listeners and the underground scene. Regular-casual listeners to hip-hop will not fully appreciate what is being made and presented to them. Point 2: that's what happens when you sample old AF vinyls, up the volume, leaving little room for dynamic compression and then mix it all together with modern samples. Also beats are not really the main point, especially when you have Inspectah Deck in the group.

Celestian Tales: Old North Picked it up on steam, I was itching for some JRPG-styled game and I was sold on the hand-drawn style art. I was messing around with Fire Emblem and FF6 on my GBA emulator but too annoyed to keep playing with the 8-16 bit art style. This was a good drop today.

I think that is covered under creativity. Some puzzles require thinking out-of-the-box which IMO is creativity.

Wires look messy in a shot/scene or just unappealing. There isn't a point to have them for artistic-visual reasons which most VK MVs are all about.
