Hot damn, the new season of OITNB was amazing as hell. Every bit as dramatic, funny and shocking as I've expected and even more so. The characters, the directing and the dialogues, all top-notch as ever. Those devastating last episodes too, wow... The wait for Season 5 will be unbearable now, haha.

You're right! Damn. xD Well, watch it while you still can, people.

Full PV is out~ Pretty cool imo, very 'LUNA SEA'
  4. Seems like BUCK-TICK are in the studio recording! Exciting~

^ Shuuji's brother who's been the 'other half' of goatbed basically. Also, I've somehow never realized that 'goatbed' is an anagram for 'beatgod' lol edit: oh prz was quicker!

I always forget about this band, lol. But an album ... cool! Gonna make sure to check it out. Sample sounds okay too.

New OITNB season started off strong (as always), can't wait to marathon it this weekend.

I'm okay with free-for-all tbh. But if someone has a good idea, I'd also be on board with that.
  9. Completely hooked on this now: https://khanus.bandcamp.com/releases Such a strange feeling, really cool black-death kinda stuff with a unique 'shamanistic' atmosphere. Just great.

I've checked out a few videos and random songs (notably their first mini album and single) from DADAROMA before, but wasn't too thrilled by what I heard there. Thought I'd give this huge album a try, maybe there are some cool bits in there. Well... I'm still unimpressed. How should I put this? The songs have some really cool parts now and then, or a certain groovy sound that pops up during a section or two, but as actual songs they feel too samey and safe. There's literally nothing that stuck in my head afterwards (if not the fact that most tracks are a minute or two longer than they should be). It's music played with style, the execution sounds good enough (even if most 'heavy' stylings come as the dumbed-down versions of something otherwise cool-sounding), the vocalist and the instrumentalists clearly know what they're doing, but what they're doing isn't too exciting. After a few tracks I really struggled not to zone out completely. Next thing I remember is I'm already at the last track... I noticed cuz the cringey wailing next to the piano was a new element, lol. I guess in the end it served a good purpose as 'whatever background music'. Sadly, I didn't find much catchiness or replay value in it. | it was okay to listen to it once, but never again.

I'm cracking up and cringing at the same time at some of these 'requirements' listed on the official site... ...like... also, yyyyyyeah right.

This has to be the most ridiculous name change I've ever seen in vk, lmao. Damn.

Nice! I hope he has enough time for LUNA SEA recordings on the side too, heh.
  14. Jigsaw9

    too accurate lmao
  15. Jigsaw9

I hope the music will match that over-the-top pic, haha.

Wow, haven't listened to these guys in a long time! Sounds a bit too tame and polished for them imo (or for me, rather, heh), but I guess I'll check the album out when it finds its way online sometime...
  17. Awesome pic, haha. Good to see the single tracks on there too (I prefer mini albums or full-lengths more XD).
  18. Jigsaw9

HELL YES. Their debut album was phenomenal, so I have high hopes for this one as well. The advance track sounds decent enough so far.
  19. Cool live report, thx! You're not wrong in picturing PHAIDIA back in the '80s: they were actually the very first Japanese deathrock band if I recall correctly (but among the first goth bands for sure), starting in the early '80s. They're on a kinda revival currently, which always makes me crack up cuz the drummer Yoshida Tatsuya (who also guested on FOXPILL CULT's latest album btw!) usually plays in far-out technical free-jazz-rock-noise outfits in the past decades, haha. Man, FOXPILL CULT sound like they're so much fun to see live (just as I expected, lol).
  20. Ken Morioka of ex-SOFT BALLET and minus(-) fame has died of heart failure on 2016/06/03, at age 49. RIP ;__; Goddammit.
