Alice Nine will release a new single called BLUE FLAME on June 8th in three types: CD, CD+DVD, CD+DVD. (source)
-
The first one is obviously a reference to his older song NO MORE MACHINEGUNS PLAY THE GUITAR, I'm really interested in what it will sound like. Looking forward to both of them!

Herpes should make a whole blog of Jasmine You revivals, hide coming out in afterlife, penis comparsion charts of VK bassists and call it shattered tranny-queerity or something THIS. xD
-
Well if it's a joke, it's a pretty elaborate one... I don't think a band should joke about stuff like this, especially in such an official manner but whatever. According to English translations, it's Aggy who wants to quit (if this whole thing is true, at least, lol).

Sounds kinda okay so far. Lookin' forward to it.
-
Thanks for the tracklist! I hope this'll make its way online somehow.
-
LOLOLOL nice one. =D
-
LOL, oh Makoto...
-
^ I don't remember a new single, just this best album and the live DVD. But wouldn't be surprised if they did announce something like that, lol. XD (to be honest, I think they should take a break or something...I didn't like their singles since DIM at all. they sound kinda forced)

Marilyn Manson: made me actively interested in music for the first time in my life. Still love him. Cradle of Filth/Rhapsody/Helloween: (...and many more, on a sort of compilation audio-cassette) made me fall in love with almost any form of metal music which was what I predominantly listened to, before discovering J-music. Atsushi Sakurai & BUCK-TICK: Atsushi's Sacrifice PV was my first J-music experience, and along with B-T's (and some other bands') music, opened up an enormously wide spectrum of music I hadn't even listened to before. Thus, besides J-music, I got more into Western glam (David Bowie), post-punk/goth (Bauhaus, Joy Division), and basically any kind of music, not just rock/metal (like Aphex Twin, Merzbow, jazz, blues, etc). Hmmm, I think that's most of it.

^ Well they haven't released any new music since December (and these releases won't contain any new tracks either). xD
-
This, too. So much.

Found a cool French vid of Miyavi jamming: "One Shot Live" with Miyavi I'm completely in love with his recent lo-fi/garage style but I really wish he'd do a fully acoustic album again.
-
LOL, it's called a looper/sampler pedal. And don't worry, I think the next time he comes back it'll be a totally new concept (just like everytime).
-
This new release was really a letdown for me, after the awesome Break Time. I like that side of them better (than this happier/lighter style). Still, Every Day is a cool song.

Sounds pretty fantastic! Thanks for the link.

^ I remember reading somewhere (i.e. struggling with Google Translator xD) that it's "for the world" too, or something along those lines. Plus the fact that they're informing people about it in Japanese as well as English. So I think we'll definitely be able to purchase it.

Listened to it once so far. Well, it's not that bad...but kinda average.
-
Because of the Jigsaw Killer in the Saw series, plus a lack of imagination, lol. Then it stuck (I first used it on the net around 2004). And "9" because it's one of my favourite numbers.

Oh wow, didn't know the new mini was out... will listen to it later tonight! (though seeing the comments, I don't have high expectations )
-
Another new artist at the label: REMNANT
-
I don't really distinguish between disbanded or active bands in terms of my listening habits. I can get a sort of personal "hype" or desire to listen to any artist, be it active or inactive. It all just depends on the vibes I get, I guess.

Same here, lol.
