  3. The Budapest gig was amazing!!! It was my 3rd time seeing Miyavi, and the best one too IMO. He really brought the samurai guitarist spirit. Him and Bobo make a great team. I was really happy to see him glued to his guitar almost through the whole show (which is what I wanted to experience ever since I heard him play 4-5 years ago), and just getting creative with all his effect pedals and loopers. There was a small technical problem (all the speakers went silent in the middle of BOOM-HAH BOOM-HAH-HAH) but he didn't lose his cool, and urged us to go "boom-hah boom-hah-hah" to the beat anyway, before letting the crew take a moment and solve the problem. It was smooth sailing from there on, the sound and his voice was perfect too. He even played two new tracks besides those three new ones he played so far on tour, they were really cool (kinda groovy, with a nice rhythm). Best MYV live I went to, and the best live of the year for me, so far. edit: the 2 new songs: Zh1U9Zxub8M puP-d_5dKX8

Post more please! This might become my favorite thread here.
  5. Jigsaw9

It would be really cool if I could download this legally. For now, every Amazon site says they can't sell it to me because of "geographical restrictions", lol. Well whatever, I'll wait till another site is maybe selling it...
  6. Jigsaw9

FUCK YEAH. Hungarian gig, here I come!

Hellevator: The Bottled Fools Really liked it! A distopian sci-fi/thriller with some interesting twists.

I read the thread title, and immediately thought of SCANCH (dunno if they consider themselves VK or just glam-rock). sjG_Cj7QCFA

Rubber's Lover Was more aesthetically pleasing and easier-to-follow than Pinocchio 964, but I liked Pinocchio a bit more.
  10. Jigsaw9

Pinocchio 964 ...WTF. Wasn't bad though.
  11. Jigsaw9

Yeah, since then the only member is Rieu. Based on the myspace tracks this release's gonna be more noise-induced.

Despair - Dance of the Murder

    ^ My thoughts exactly, lol.

  15. Japanese industrial unit (now Rieu solo project) Despair's new album will be released sometime in the summer. Its title will be NUMBERED CHILDREN, and will feature the artwork of Polish avantgarde photographer Slawomir Rumiak. Prototype versions of 8 songs can be listened to at the official myspace site. I can't wait!!! This has gotta be one the best news of the year for me.

DEAD END - SHAMBARA (vinyl) ...and maybe their other old albums? I'm only sure about this one.

    You probably mean this. AO3wneBtx4I

One word: awesome. My favorite albums are probably Frizzly Fry, Sailing the Seas of Cheese, and Pork Soda. But the other stuff is really good too, like Tales from the Punchbowl - that's one trippy piece of music. Good to know I'm not the only one here who likes them. xD I might or might not be able to attend their concert in Vienna, keeping my fingers crossed~
  19. ^ Thanks for the info!
  20. Does anyone know what kind of merch they had at the venues, and what price range? Thx in advance!
  21. Jigsaw9

Kinda mildly looking forward to it. Hope it's better than anything after DIM (which wouldn't be a hard task, lol).

The only really bad experience I can remember was that somehow I strained/pinched a nerve in my neck while headbanging at a gig of some underground Hungarian HC/metal bands, before even my fave band there came on. Nevertheless I headbanged away through the whole live with a sore neck, but oh boy...the next week was hellishly painful, lol. Also, I hated how sometimes I couldn't hear the music at the Versailles live here, because of the fangirl shrieks.
  23. Jigsaw9

It seems the song will be called PROMISE. Teaser on Facebook... this is gonna be amazing.
  24. Jigsaw9

^ Thanks! Would've been cool to see them.
