Here's the Born Villain movie, watch it quick before they delete it. NSFW warning! YwoOZAC5Aog I like it, the vid and the music is cool too. Supposedly this is not a full song, btw.

Only did one listen so far, so initial reactions: - 娑婆乱打 - Catchy & fun, I like it! - 東京、43時00分59秒 - Meh. Most boring cali≠gari ballad ever IMO. - トイトイトイ - You can really tell they just do these B-sides because they have to fill up space. xD Not much of a song, but has some fun/cool parts. Forgettable though. - すべてが狂ってる ~あんまり狂ってない編~ - Maybe a bit better than トイトイトイ, might grow on me later. Didn't really like it as much as their other post-comeback stuff, but not bad. Hope they'll do an album now!
  3. Listening to the new (well, released in May) Anaal Nathrakh album Passion. Pretty good so far, the usual angry-sounding thunderstorming tracks. Especially this caught my attention: I_L5AFLsQMY

^ On the official homepage they say "Remastered & Expanded" ...so I guess it'll be a bit of both.

Hah, you were quicker in posting this! Looking forward to it. By the way, this single is Vol.1 in MIYAVI's release-campaign SAMURAI SESSION WORLD SERIES, so we can expect other collaborations (with international artists too) in the near future.

Aliens versus Predator: Requiem Boring/ridiculous. Had a few cool scenes though.
  9. - REMEMBER THE URGE: not bad. - CLEVER MONKEY: not bad but forgettable. - Chijou: boring. I didn't have any expectations, so it wasn't really a let-down. Nice background listening actually! The first two songs were pretty decent. Couldn't really get into the third one, it just passes me by, pretty unmemorable. I think this CD is on par with their VORTEX single, meaning that I liked it a bit better than their previous singles for the coming album.

The full song's not bad. Liked it a bit better than their recent efforts.

I don't know if this is of any help to you but BUCK-TICK released their latest DVD in Blu-ray format too, and it costs about 1500-1600 Yen more than the regular one (but it has as much video footage as the limited edition double-DVD-box version which costs a lot more). So I guess the price margin will be similar here too?

^ A remaster doesn't equal a remake. It just means that they'll take all the stuff they recorded and polish it/mix it differently/play around with acoustics, whatever. The song should stay totally the same (at least by the original meaning of the word "remastering"), just in a different, potentially better/fuller sound quality. Of course it also says "expanded", so I don't know if that refers to add-ons to songs, or bonus tracks or what...

Sorry for the hasty double-post (excitement FTW xD) but these two shots are supposedly from the film/whatever: The first one is an obvious reference to Jodorowsky's Holy Mountain (movie) - Manson's a big fan of this director (there was talk about them collaborating even, a few years ago).
  15. Jigsaw9

I'm SO tired of almost every interesting non-musical Manson project not seeing the light of day. I'd love to read his Holy Wood novel too, for example, but that got cancelled/banned/not even released as well (except for one teaser chapter)...
  16. Jigsaw9

Yeah, this new trailer/film has nothing to do with Phantasmagoria, it's just something connected to the new album. You can read up on Phantasmagoria HERE btw, it's the most reliable Manson source (if I get it correctly then the film is on hold now, maybe forever? hopefully not).

^ Awesome!! Thanks for the info. Can't wait to see that vid.

I'm so gonna buy that new UROBOROS. I hope the remaster will pack a punch, like DSS. Curious about the "extended" part too (I hope they'll include a few B-sides like Hydra 666, etc).

Info update: gosick @kyokutouxkanojo LJ community wrote to Brand-X about the raffle/prize drawing, and they said that if the stuff won by an overseas customer isn't "heavy" (or big in size) then they can possibly send the prize.
  20. Jigsaw9

I hope they'll do a beastly/heavy mixing for UROBOROS too, like DUM SPIRO SPERO. URO' is one of my favorite DEG albums but the sound quality doesn't always live up to its greatness.
  21. Jigsaw9

OMG OMG OMG I must buy this.

Angelo is basically a post-Pierrot band: while Aiji (Pierrot guitarist) went on to form LM.C in 2006, the other members of Pierrot (Kirito, Kohta and Takeo) formed Angelo in the same year. They only had support guitarist(s) for all these years.
  23. Karyu (ex-D'espairsRay guitarist) and Giru (ex-Vidoll guitarist) officially joined Angelo.

The new album leaked a while ago... any opinions? Personally, I was a bit scared after hearing the preview track (Tragedy's a' Comin') but thankfully all my fears were unfounded: 12 years after the (IMO) scattered/hit-and-miss Antipop album, they really delivered a consistent sounding, solid piece of music that I'll be happy to spin again and again. Some really cool stuff in there, especially the double-freaky combo of Eyes of the Squirrel and Jilly's on Smack in the middle of the album. Although I admit, I had to get used to that "bleep-bloop" effect on Les' bass in a couple of songs, lol. Definitely gonna buy a copy when it comes out! ...and I won't miss out next time they come here to tour.
