^ Well I guess they didn't bother with the artwork because originally this CD was just distributed (=for free?) at some local shops. So it's not like they'll gain money from this, it's only a kind of sampler IMO. But yeah, at least a band logo would've been nice/informative.

LOL it looks like they did some songs with vocaloid already (Hatsune Miku). Weird to see Eve participating in this. xD

Just got into In Solitude (from Sweden). They play pretty cool old-school heavy metal with occult themes, remotely similar to '80s Mercyful Fate (sans the falsetto vocals). I definitely recommend them to MF fans, or any old-school metal fans. QzRyOSz2fjE

^ I think this is his blog (if you're still interested ).

^ Yep.

Dagon Wasn't expecting much but it turned out to be a cool B-movie.

^ LOL@the name. The line-up looks cool!

^ Yeah, on these two albums: (2005.04.20) greedy dead souls (as a bonus track), (2007.11.07) THE BURIED Looking forward to the new single btw.

Meh, not liking their new album. I only like Neverland, Baby Don't Cry and Take Me Away. The other songs either bore me or irritate me (like the one with that high-pitched sound in the background, can't remember the title). Didn't like their last mini either, so I was kinda expecting this. Break Time is still my fave release of theirs.

BUCK-TICK: they have a big catalogue of diverse styles, and they pull (almost) everything off equally well. Plus, I think their style has enough in common with Western alternative stuff (but also lots of uniqueness) for first-time listeners not to be put off.

Was looking forward to this release, not disappointed. - 『 』: cheap intro, could've been a bit more grandiose but it sets the mood. - Aventure: loved this song before, lovin' it still. - Mauser no Pistol: Kinda average/mediocre, nothing special. - EROS: still one of my faves from them. - Misshitsu ni okeru long-ass title: was hoping for a slow/sleazy song like this. Nice one. - Jesus: never thought that this was anything amazing but really grew on me over time. - MASK: fun song, good to listen to. Sounds like party material. - Number Eight.: lol, is this Nightmare by SADS that I hear at the beginning (also another of their song in the "breakdown" part)? xDDD Also a fun/energetic song, closes the album on a nice note. Liking the glam/sleaze/SADS influence. I still think they're an entertaining band; nowadays even more enjoyable for me than their old era - which was also awesome but of course different. I would've liked a new song or two more but overall I really enjoyed this "erotic album" (lol). I'd give it an 8/10, nice job.

Saw VI Saw VII I like this series.

Chianti: thx for the transcription! Actually the "life is but a walking shadow..." part is a quote from Shakespeare. Also, some people speculate the song title is No Reason (what MM wrote on the OHP at the end of his entry).
-
^ Ah okay, my bad. Then I hope we'll get that single soon.
-
^ Just read about it on the official site moments ago, cool! Though I wouldn't mind an announcement of the release date too, lol (last info was "fall 2011").

I love The Shape too! Skin Ticket is also a nice one. And I agree, my fave is Iowa too (plus, you'll see that the booklet looks really cool!), but their self-titled comes pretty close too. Actually, the only album I just couldn't really get into is Vol.3.

KTiV9Obc9c4 The first in a series of alternate 'Yoü and I' videos, if I understood it right.

My faves are all their albums (yes, even STACKED RUBBISH xD), the MADARA mini album, and that early song-collection album Dainihon...something (long-ass title). That's all you need I guess.
