LOL I feel exactly the opposite. xD When I first listened to Alice Nine I was literally scared away for a couple of years because of Shou's dying cow-like singing (I'm talking about Zekkeishoku or immediately pre-Zekkeishoku era). I don't know, to me it sounds like from about Alpha or VANDALIZE on he really really improved. To each their own, I guess.

Subete e PV Reminds me a bit of GEMINI - cool epic composition. This will be a fantastic closing track to the album IMO.
-
Cool. Not much longer to wait then. ^^
-
^ Actually, they had some pretty fun stuff before the album in the GAOG era...like those weird in-studio clips and Manson's nonsensical/dadaist writings on the official site and stuff. I miss that kind of fun, kinda.
-
These two seem pretty good.

Oh great, so he caught the Yoshiki Syndrome, that's why news on the album have been so slow... it all makes sense now!
-
Ehh, poor them...

126 GB, 16.562 files in 2344 folders, dunno where to look for the runtime (takes too long to load in Winamp, lol). xD

LOL, listening to Brackish again took me back many years....ah, nostalgia! I never was too big on them, only casually listened to their stuff then and now, they're not bad. I agree that in their old days they were more unique/outstanding kinda.

Sounds cool/interesting. Good to see a Japanese band employing this kind of method (like in the West), hopefully it'll be quality stuff!
-
^ He's been going for a very stripped-down and lo-fi sounding garage-rock style lately, so if you didn't really care for STRONG I don't think you'll like his recent stuff either. But here are a few good ones, IMO (off his latest album): TbwjeOcmtGg&ob uunPriLNr30 And an interesting one, experimenting with loop pedals/various effects: 4FbfcID2ibc

^ Haha, good to see such positive opinions on them here. I personally wasn't too fond of TOXIC (it wasn't bad though), but loved DIM and STACKED RUBBISH - which was actually the album where I got to like them the most. Other stuff is okay too, but SR will always be that 'special' album for me.

I've heard some tentative rumors here and there but looks like it's now official: Corey and Shawn launched their own TV/film production company called Living Breathing Films, and they already have a film in development (plus there'll be more projects for this year). (source & more info) Being the simplistic guy that I am, I frankly just want a new Slipknot album, not Stone Sour/movies/etc. xD

Not bad, hopefully they'll be able to produce something worthwhile. Looking forward to that album! I guess this was all announced on today's gig, so the info should be up soon on the OHP too. Yeah, it's more "low-budget" overall. I tend to listen to stuff in chronological order so maybe I didn't really notice it that way. And yeah, those are cool songs! LOL @ the logos, only seen the Coldplay one before. Good find! xDDD
-
^ Smash Mouth? LOL. Well I guess he'll be okay... Would like some juicy album details a bit more though. Come ooon, Manson! xD

Just done watching their NOLZA! DVD, amazing concert! The girls sang and danced really well and it was such an energetic (and at times touching) show. I'm not a fan of Bom's solo songs but her parts were really great, especially the song she did with her sister accompanying on cello - beautiful. I'm impressed! I like that both discs have optional English subtitles, so you can understand what they're saying/joking between songs, and the stuff in the behind-the-scenes bonus footage. The packaging is extremely cool as well (black velvet covering the extra-thick case with a thinner case holding the DVDs inside, plus a lengthy photobook). One of the best DVDs I own! Anyone else seen the DVD? (if you wanna download it you can do it from here, for example)

Aww where are you guys? Feeling like I'm just posting stuff for myself, lol. xD Here's the teaser (I guess the music is from track 2 "LOL"): w4a5tlIrEdE I like it so far.

Really looking forward to that B-side and the reworking of their old song!
-
Yeah, the Makoto vocal-version of the album is only a bonus if someone buys both the regular and the limited edition together. Really excited to hear this album! (but this time I'll download+listen first, and decide later to buy or not)
-
^ Cool. Tell us your impressions when you listened to it. I think the songs are a bit catchier on that one then their 2011 album.
-
Listening to the remaster now, on HYDRA -666- currently. Was pretty much what I expected so far, clear and loud production, I love it even more (if it's even possible considering I really loved the original album to begin with xD). Amazing how this 128 kbps rip sounds better than the old mix on CD, lol. Will definitely consider buying this one!
-
^ Sounds awesome from what you wrote! I hope to hear it soon too (when it gets uploaded somewhere, then I'll decide to buy or not xD).
