I've never been one to listen to Domo Genesis much, but his new album (or, well, his first 'legit' album) is pretty awesome. Very nice production and sound, with some cool grooves mixes in. I mean... ...damn. <3
  2. Well alrighty then. btw that song sounds BADASS.
  3. Jigsaw9

Sounds like classic Kiyoharu. So ready for this.
  4. Just so we could cry for za moonies a lil' bit more, I collected the potential tracks for (the hopefully upcoming) "THE DOGUU ALBUM", or at least these are the songs that don't have official studio versions at this point, but were played live at the band's gigs in the past year: HAYABIKI STRANGE DAYS THE DOGUU SONG* BOYS* 知らないの (Shiranaino) THE ANIME SONG Underneath the shadow -THE SHADOW 2-* IN MY HEAD the ghost song* ラヴバラード (Love Ballad) The asterisks indicate that the given track was already featured in a live version on the band's live album / DVD. Also, I guess the song titles are subject to change... btw there's a track called "Nioi punpun" also appears in some setlists, but that just might be how the band refers to their old song "Nioi" nowadays?
  5. Cool! Curious to hear what kind of style he'll go with.

Finally the cheesemaster publicly embraces the cheese.

    Haha, that was brilliant.
  8. @@emmny I see, I guess I can see/hear that. @@Bear Cattle Decapitation rules! I really wanna see them live too, seems like an absolute killer live band.

    Sweet.
  10. ^ I see. The only time I've seen them so far (in summer 2014) seems similar to your experience, in that they weren't really rocking out or anything, and looked very stationary and serious. I just attribute that to the complex stuff they have to precisely deliver, so it's natural that they try to focus hard on what they're playing imo. But then again, I have no other point of reference concerning how they are live.
  11. ^ Sucks to hear about Gorguts... ;( You didn't like their songs, or did they just play in a bad / sloppy way? Gonna go see them live in a few weeks, hope they'll deliver.

good ol' kiyo papa Indeed, the album seems better by the minute. Can't wait to listen!
  13. Marathoning & catching up on Dan Terminus before tomorrow night's gig... Dan Terminus, Gost, Perturbator, MY BODY IS READY. Hoping the latter two includes some tunes from their upcoming albums.
  14. Lovely sound, reminds me a bit of melodic major vk stuff from the late '90s. That chorus is way over-repeated tho, lol.

Live Blu-ray/DVD "ARCHIVES 2016 TOUR ULTRA ~The Loud Engine~" and live CD+DVD "Deeper and Down" will be released at 2016/05/25, latter of which contains 2 studio-recorded new songs. Both will feature material from the band's gig at EX THEATER ROPPONGI, 2016/01/28. btw "Deeper and Down" mostly contains the encore segment of that concert. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - Well, it was okay I guess. Far from perfect, but it more or less delivered what I expected. Snyder continues the serious superhero treatment characteristic of the two protagonists and adds some not-so-welcome elements (I wanted to shoot Jesse Eisenberg after like 5 mins, lol). The visuals look cool, the atmosphere is there (at times it's a bit too much tho, bordering on the ridiculous), so I'd recommend watching it at least once. Oh, and Gal Gadot easily stole the show. Wish there was more of her character (oh well, there's still that Wonder Woman movie coming!).

^ Some of these sound pretty interesting, I'll probably check out a few. Thx!
  19. It almost flew under my radar, but Italian darkwave/post-punk trio Ash Code released their new album "Posthuman" recently! You can get the album and/or listen at: https://swissdarknights.bandcamp.com/album/posthuman https://manicdepressionrecords.bandcamp.com/album/md061-ash-code-posthuman https://play.google.com/store/music/album/Ash_Code_Posthuman?id=Bhwjki3cg4qbzr5aa6zqmqybchy
  20. First I read it as "suffered from inferior condition of his vocals" and I was like "ur not the only one, lel." Anyway, hoping the trash-kei prince will get better soon. ;(

Any love for documentary series? Watched Making a Murderer a while ago, and recently marathoned The Jinx. So good and exciting! Especially the latter one, holy shit. Somehow I'm enjoying these more lately instead of 'regular' series.
  22. btw the EP is also available (for super cheap!) from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/music/album/The_Nostradamnz_Daiyogen?id=Bf6hw2sivnjmxbu7al44xqazlaa
  23. ^ lmao, that was awful, yeah. XD Gave the new Cobalt album a spin yesterday, top-quality stuff! (tho a bit too long for my usual liking)
