I sadly don't have much good to say about witness. It is easily my least favorite album by the band, and continues the downward trend in FACT's albums imo. Their self-titled was fantastic, In the Blink of an Eye was great, burundanga was good, and witness is meh. For me there isn't a single song that passes above average for me, with disclosure being the album's closest thing to a strong track. Then there are some downright annoying tracks like ape and 2-1. The song witness is probably the most intriguing to me as it has parts which are great but it's repetitiveness just ends up coming off as irritating (though it does get stuck in my head). The album does get some points for having awesome cover art, though .

I did a dumb thing and bought a PS4....System + GTA V + The Last of Us + $20 PSN card for $340 was too hard to pass up

I was trying to make a solid attempt to provide a blurb for these albums, but man, I just couldn't get in to them. Fuujin Kaikou was a total snooze fest for me with it taking me a couple attempts to make it all the way through. Raijin Sousei on the other hand came off as far more interesting. It has stuff like the opener (雷神) that I actually enjoyed, but for the most part it just felt so much more varied than the other album. 人首丸 sounded totally out of place and nothing like any of the other tracks across both albums which helped to keep things interesting. Kuroneko's traditional vocal stylings on 夜歩き骨牡丹 make for a really different sound as well. While this album still wasn't for me, if I were going to buy one, it would be with out a doubt this one. Personally, I feel like if Onmyouza had decided to create one definitive experience, say 45 minutes long to maybe an hour, I think they could have trimmed the fat enough for me to have really enjoyed it. But 2 hours across 2 albums is just way too much and in the end I feel like it felt bland with only glimmers of quality that get lost amoungst the length.

I would have never guess that MH would evolve in to the place that it is today...and that is all because of the assume community we have. Hope you become a part of it Also, at first I thought you were saying that you are apart of the band "barrows," who I fucking love XD. So close lol. Checked out both your bands and they sound pretty sick though (especially digging Other Minds.

I am not even done listening to the album, but one thing is hitting me hard. I actually ENJOY the sound! Uroboros felt muffled and trapped...the remastering helped in this but absolutely killed the drums as they felt just too wide and tinny. DSS suffered from the same drum problems and just something about it sounds off. The Unraveling I just didn't listen to enough to have a real opinion. But god damn, does the mastering in ARCHE just sound -right-. No other opinions as of yet, but I have a feeling this will be my favorite Diru release since Withering.
