  1. Did anyone else notice that they're calling themselves a “rock band”? Trying to shed their visual shackles? Nothing says “I don't wanna be visual anymore” like a goatee.
  2. Any Dokusatsu Terrorist / SEX-ANDROID fans here? I got their split VHS w/ ANTI-KRANKE and will need help identifying songs

  3. Anyone remember this?

Yes, that seems like the case! Thanks for putting it so clearly

It's a live-limited "trail version" (試作), so I assume it's just a sample of the track (or maybe it's full-length, but not the final recording). Hopefully the full version will be available in regular shops.

So it seems like the copyrights are being auctioned by the government, rather than by the band/label. In that case, none of the profits will go to the band or toward their debts, if such debts exist. (Please correct me if I'm wrong!) This at least explains why the minimum price is a paltry $500―I imagine the band could make that kind of money just by selling cheki for a week. I wonder if KIYOHARU even knows about this? --- Edit: I also notice that the posting is by the Tokyo Regional Tax Bureau. Does that mean the rights only apply to Tokyo? Maybe someone can shed some light on how Japan's copyright laws work in that regard.

    LOVE this idea

IIRC, Aka-ON was founded by the same guy (SMILE vocalist, I think?) who owned Dear Dolce, after that first label went under. As far as recording quality, etc., we might assume that he was lower on funds, as Dear Dolce didn't seem very successful (and had like a million bands for no reason). Speculation: Yukika saw Memento-Mori, saw that they had potential, and offered them a contract on his label (which had more money and more recognition). I doubt that they were “forced” to change; I'd guess that they just expected to have more success with the Kuroyuri style.
  9. I've only heard one single from them, but liked it. It was like a watered-down version of Malice Mizer or something
  10. Forgot my keycard and got locked out of the lab this morning _| ̄|○

One more day of work and then this marathon is finally over ヽ(;▽;)ノ

I would love the Megaromania stuff, if you still have it!

For a *single* purchase, I think it was like $300+ for a vie eternele release. (Not worth it lmao) Overall, I've spent a metric fuckton on KISAKI related stuff. Probably Dali is the one band that I spent the most on, cause I vowed to collect everything from them that I could. Unfortunately their later years were just a bunch of dist stuff, so I basically had to give up... But for a while there I bought multiple copies of every type, etc

I got the download links from their site. Not sure if they work! Pathetique Zakuro The Butterfly Effect Armeria L'oiseau Blue
  14. L O L. I guess it's because the original version of Samurai dreeeeeam breaker was on TREASON -THE CUTTING EDGE OF ROCK PRESS- omnibus, which was published by Victor Entertainment. Soooooo fucking stupid! I guess no one managed to save it before it was taken down?
  15. Also, this look is dangerously close to some curtains draped over a comforter

I have doubts that the app will appear and be functional/useful, but good luck to them. I like the idea
  17. I think they're just on break right now? I think Lilith is more successful than AS could hope to be, so I expect that they'll be back at some point. Just imo
  18. inartistic

Cool! I hope I'm able to hear it
  19. Was trolling through old auctions, and found this: On 2008-07-01, basokiya1217 sold Lebia 「滅びの序章」 (from the image, it's the same tape we're familiar with). On 2008-08-02, night22com sold Lebia 「滅びの序章」 (same tape, again), and mentions that “at this time, KISAKI called himself AINE.” Just thought it was interesting that, even before KISAKI started selling fake copies of this tape as his own, people were selling this as a KISAKI band (albeit under a different name). In fact, I wonder if night22com bought the tape from basokiya1217, thought it was the KISAKI band, and re-sold it as such; maybe KISAKI buys it the second time, and re-sells copies years later? Of course we should blame KISAKI for putting fake information about “滅序章” in beyond the kingdom, but maybe it's this night22com person's fault that we have this fake demotape floating around lol (Btw, I still can't help but think the person on the left in the Levia cover looks a lot like KISAKI, but I guess it's just coincidence.) Edit: oh, I should point out that neither basokiya1217 nor night22com were KISAKI. He has a certain “style” in posting auctions, and neither of them match it; plus, their periods of activity overlapped with his account, so I'm sure they were all different people.
  20. Anyone use Kairai? She hasn't responded to me in 2 weeks >_>. Have had no issues before now...
