  1. iTunes is cutting off playback for a lot of my songs with like a full minute left. The time it cuts off is not always uniform and if I skip past the cutoff I can still listen to the remaining portion.

Sometimes it doesn't happen, sometimes I add an album and the whole thing is like that, no one else mentions the problem so it's not the mp3. my version of IT is current.

It's kinda annoying... but at least we know it's not cutting the files.

I once had that problem, too. I used this workaround and it did the job:

"You're going to have to delete every song in your iTunes library. DO NOT DELETE THE FILES THEMSELVES, just in your iTunes music library select all then hit the delete key and make sure you don't move the files to the trash. Then you have to import all your music again. Find it in this path: user/music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music. You can just drag and drop that music folder into iTunes. Caution: For this solution, all your playlists will need to be remade and your genius data will need to fully sync with Apples servers." source

If iTunes manages your files automatically, make sure to make a copy of your music folder before you delete it in iTunes! Hope that fixes your problem!
