there wouldn't be so many wrong tags on last.fm if people cared about tagging. also last.fm's autocorrect is kinda crappy, if i enabled it, some correct tags i have would be changed. yuck.

also, voted for everything as well. if anyone wants to bother ask me to upvote/downvote stuff, suggest corrections, etc. you can leave me a shout on last.fm. i don't mind

i used to listen to basically nothing but pop music in english. i'd always been interested in rhythm games, so that was my first exposure to jpop basically. from pop i listened to stuff usually recommended by my irl friends which consisted of rock music and like 90s alternative. then i started to get bored of all music so i was looking for a way to find more music so i made a lastfm. then i started to try out new genres but i was still uneasy. then i joined turntable.fm back in 2011 or something and started hanging out in a japanese/anime music room and my interest grew and i started trying out random albums from there based on songs i liked. that was around when i started listening to full albums for once. then from turntable i got interested in other east asian music and then somehow i ended up where i am now. i dont like to limit myself to any specific language or genre anymore because that's boring.

i'm down for a hip-hop theme my fellow gangstaz.

well if you start downloading again, you might end up downloading too much music... like me 8(

if you have the money to support artists then you should just keep on doing it

my native language is English. i took 4 classes (?) of Spanish in high school, forgot all of it. now i'm studying Japanese in university.

i would also be interested in learning Mandarin but i think Japanese is plenty

big update coming to plug in a few days (possibly tomorrow). they're replacing the current plug notes system with subscriptions. any plug notes will be converted to plug points. you'll be able to buy the premium avatars with points now, but the prices are expensive af. subscriptions give you unlimited access to all avatars and stuff regardless of level.

Apparently VEVO videos work again. Also, the site was being DDoS'd again but appears to be up right now.

All VEVO videos are blocked for everyone regardless of country now. 

I'm torn between Early 2000s-late 2000s and Early 2010s-Present. But I think I'll choose Early 2010s-Present because it's the era I'm most familiar with.

It was really nice for the hour it lasted.

And now it's back in maintenance mode. 

It's up again, and more stable. But me and some other people are having problems logging in (of course).
