Rather than introduce myself as a person, I will introduce myself as a company.
 
V STAR PROMOTION, is currently a small company/organization based in Japan with the following main goals and purposes:
-to reduce the gap between Japanese bands and foreign fans
-provide foreign fans with more access to Japanese bands
-promote Japanese bands to foreign fans
 
V STAR PROMOTION is not a label, nor is it a news company, however V STAR PROMOTION will provide English updates and information for connected bands.
 
Currently V STAR PROMOTION has a twitter, facebook as well as a youtube channel.
On the twitter and facebook you can read updates and see live photography, and on the youtube channel you can watch English comments from bands recorded in connection to V STAR PROMOTION.

I thought this might be an interesting thread. Some of us have been into Visual Kei & J-rock in general for so long that we're familiar with what many others might consider favorites of the previous decade, but now that we're well into the 2010's - which albums have been your all-time favorites so far? Those albums that have aged well with you, the ones that you can put on without skipping a track?

Perhaps this is a (unfortunate) side of the current music scene, however if used correctly it can also be a huge positive.

All we ask for is support for the band and all the hard work that goes into making a single.

Hi there, i'm from Chile and love music globally with passion.
 
There are a lot of bands from japan i love (my favourite band of all times is luna sea), and love the older (proto?) vk bands (die in cries, zi:kill, etc.) and not so old vk bands (mist of rouge, kalimero, plastic tree, etc.).
 
I run a small tumblr called "Arbaro Sonoj" which reviews and uploads old school visual releases (it's in spanish, but still you can check it out here: arbarosonoj.tumblr.com), and I hope to run into fellow old vk lovers to share thoughts and music. Crippling depression, chronic sickness, and a disinterest in almost everything coming out had me thinking twice about releasing a list this year. You guys motivated me to get off my ass and finish this, so this post is for you. I can say that most releases I was looking forward to from the beginning of the year either never came out or disappointed me. I also came across a lot of music that was "great" but not necessarily something I would enjoy sharing on this list. I waffled between adding one or two more albums but decided at the last minute to exclude them. This is by far my shortest list ever with only 13 entries but I kind of like it that way.
