LOL yeah, if I was watching with other people I absolutely would not multitask. But I always watch GoT alone. Besides, I probably have some undiagnosed form of ADD. I usually have some sort of English-language video running on my second monitor while I'm working on lyrics, because if I'm only focusing on one of those things, I get bored or feel like I'm wasting time. And I'm not a film/TV enthusiast like you clearly are =p +1 !!!!

(back on topic) I'm still inching my way through Yakuza 0. I'm only on chapter 4 (out of 11, I think) after ~25 hours.. so many sidequests lol. Chapter 4 is the 2nd chapter featuring Majima, and it's set in Osaka, so the Kansai dialect is messing with my reading ability. Can still make out what's going on, generally, anyway. Actually starting to have a little trouble with the combat.. for some reason, in this chapter the enemies suddenly started attacking me non-stop (as in punching and kicking me), and they knock Majima down very easily. Super annoying, especially when 3 of them corner me and break through my blocking. I even dropped the difficulty down from Normal to Easy, but it didn't affect their attack speed. Don't know if I'm doing something wrong. Had to change my playstyle to "super cautious" and just dodge nonstop until I can get one guy to separate from the group. It's not what I consider a fun way to play. In Shovel Knight, I made my way through what I think is the final dungeon, despite what I consider an excessive amount of "bullshit platforming". But I was super hyped to take down the Sorceress. Only to find out that I have to get through a boss rush first. Totally killed my hype. On my first try, I died at Polar Knight after forgetting he creates spike traps, and then didn't feel like trying again. That was a few days ago. I'll probably try again when.. IF.. I feel like it. Maybe.

I got numetal to send me the pictures, too. You did quite a good job with this, considering how blurry some of the photos are. But I will give you these corrections. Some things are important, like incorrect kanji.. some things are very minor. 「リズリーサーカス」 ぐるぐる should be ぐらぐら 路地里 should be 路地裏 (this appears twice in the song) トレンドアイデンティティ 日替り should be 日替わり 飽きたらボイ should be 飽きたらポイ (BOI -> POI) It is hard to tell from the photo, but based on the meaning, POI makes more sense. POI is sort of slang for "throwing something away carelessly".. so 飽きたらポイ means "throw it away when you're bored of it" 融け込めないざらざらな芸術を君が殺してくれないか 奇を街うことで奇を街えない庭つきたゴミ 庭つきたゴミ should be 奇を衒うことで奇を衒えない底つきたゴミ 底つきたゴミ (VERY hard to see in the photo, but 奇を衒う/ki o terau is an expression meaning "to display one's own eccentricity", and you can hear him say 底/soko, not 庭/niwa) 月のうた それから叫ぶ should be そこから叫ぶ imitation hero. 差出し入うろ覚えの should be 差出し人うろ覚えの (差出し人/sashidashinin means "sender") As always, if anyone is interested in the romaji (or the corrected kanji), it is available here: http://hiphopvomit.blogspot.com/2015/03/index-dadaroma.html

I spent half of my work day staring blankly at MH and I'm getting the $$$

The review excerpts I have skimmed over all seem to say that "if you're a die-hard megaman fan, you might like this, kind of, maybe" Good luck

Absolutely 100% D'espairsRay They were the second VK band (or, the first with male vocals) that I absolutely fell in love with, and were basically my gateway drug into VK as a whole. This was in early 2010 when they released LOVE IS DEAD, which I found amusing due to the obvious similarities to "You Spin Me Right Round". So I dug into their back catalogue and became completely obsessed. I even saw them live that year, only to be totally devastated shortly afterward when they announced Hizumi's illness and their disbandment. I framed the poster they signed for me and put it next to my bed.

I think hiroki's writing is very neat, stylish and pretty. And I can read it fine.

Yeah, pretty smart play by Ubisoft to fill that gap. It looks very nice. I was horrified and delighted at the same time when they showed people crashing...

Today is my 10th anniversary at last.fm .. I remember how much better it used to be T_T;

It was such a great idea... What a shame that it's unpopular now. Even if they had a good staff again, I somehow get the feeling that it just doesn't fit into what's popular for social services these days

congrats(?) mine is next year if i include my old account. and yeah, last.fm was really great back then, but i'm so attached to it i can't leave.

yeah it'll be 10 years for me next march, and I can concur... it used to be so much better T.T

I very much appreciate that you typed them out instead of dumping the scans on me I'm sure it looks horrifying.. Thanks again <3 edit: Edit 2: Never mind, someone just sent me the scans, lol I was right about all the stuff mentioned above, plus there are a few other minor errors... and you missed a line from the 3rd song. Posted all kanji & romaji here http://hiphopvomit.blogspot.com/2015/01/index-kuroyuri-to-kage.html

It's probably also part of Microsoft's wider push to make the whole world upgrade to Windows 10. It's like how Nintendo refuses to put their games on other platforms. "You wanna play Mario Kart 8? Too bad, give us money for a Wii U." Never mind that they could potentially sell millions more copies if they went multi-platform.
-
The simple answer is, Microsoft makes more money if you buy the games from a store they own. If the game was sold on Steam, Valve would take that portion of revenue. I have seen people from other gaming outlets say positive things, as well as mixed/negative things, about their time playing FF15. I'm not too worried, I expected this mixed reaction, and I will probably have a mixed reaction myself. IGN: Destructoid: Ars Technica:

Reflecting on the Microsoft press conference now, it seems really weird. It was basically like this. 1) HEY GUYS! Here's a beautiful tiny white box we're calling Xbox One S!! 40% smaller than Xbox One, and cheaper!!!!! 2) Here's a bunch of games that will be available on both Xbox One AND Windows 10! No more Xbox exclusives, everything is cross-buy with W10!! 3) By the way, next year we're releasing "Scorpio", the super powerful version of Xbox One that will make games on the One & the One S look kinda like shit! Just strange, from a marketing perspective. Here's a new version of our console, and here's the next version of the console that will blow away the version that we literally just announced, and oh by the way if you have a good PC you don't actually need to buy the consoles. ??!?

i'm sorry i'm a casual who sucks at games ........ orz

wait wait wait WAIT MODE hype restored

Agreed 100%. It's a very cool concept, but I'm pretty sure most games for it are like "play for an hour and never go back to it" Ah ok, so it's not a "reboot" in terms of story. But it's definitely very different gameplay-wise. At least, that's what I heard people saying. I've only played the first game. Also, they just titled it "God of War" which is the main reason I called it a reboot. I think they should at least stick a subtitle onto that name so there's less confusion..

GODS BE PRAISED, Mei actually put lyrics in it?! thanks!!

You leave Aisha Tyler alone! She got in some great jokes, like making fun of Ubisoft's Frenchiness, amidst all her bad jokes. This was probably her best performance as Ubi host. But I do agree that their conference as a whole was bloated and had way too much talking. I think they wanted to make a point of celebrating their 30th anniversary, especially as they face the threat of hostile takeover from Vivendi. Anyhow, I'm super psyched for South Park, that segment was far too long but the game itself seems great. Perfect timing for them to be poking fun at superhero movies. "Sneak the black guy into phase 3" i was dying. I got that feeling from the FF15 segment. The dubstep music was a mistake (especially when the orchestra was sitting RIGHT THERE), and the VR thing was very WTF. From what they showed at Microsoft & Sony's conferences, I actually got LESS excited to play the game. (but at the same time, I pre-ordered it because of Amazon's E3 promo so fuck me) Care to share which games? I actually would've liked it if Sony had just a little more talking, it helps to segway the trailers. Besides, the conference was so short, they had room for it. For instance, it was very unclear to me where the VR segment ended. There were VR games and suddenly there was COD, but since I wasn't paying full attention, I thought COD was a VR game for a while. (or maybe they made it obvious when I wasn't looking?)

More episode 8 thoughts. Maybe I wasn't as satisfied with this episode as I initially thought. Too many plot issues.
