  Of course! I totally understand! Sorry, I’ve had some friends slapped with that before, and I saw how much it got to them. But they got to Japan their own way. Things might be bleak now (and feel free to mourn), but things also have a way of working out and I hope they do the same for you.

  There are plenty of other jobs out there besides JET. Like frayed said you can check out Gaijinpot as well as Jobs in Japan, Ohayo sensei, etc. Don't give up! Right now is actually prime job hunting season since the fiscal year starts in April in Japan.
