I am planning to do a livestream of my collection of Guniw Tools VHS tapes (a bit under 5 hours in total) Look for more info soon!

Not in any real order except for 1/2/3 or so 1.) Kaya (not a band, but whatever) 2.) Versailles 3.) Lareine 4.) 9Goats Black Out 5.) Liphlich 6.) goatbed 7.) cali≠gari 8.) A 9.) AYABIE (yumehito-on-vocals era) 10.) MELODY Not counting things that were/are sort of on the periphery of VK (Guniw Tools, Jikkendai Marmot etc.)

Windows always duplicates my wallpaper on my second monitor, but it's always covered with windows so I don't care.

My top 10: 9GOATS BLACK OUT - CALLING It's sad to say goodbye to one of the most creative and beautiful bands the VK scene has had, but CALLING doesn't disappoint. highlight: Panta rhei A - Elementa Alchemica A carries the visual-prog banner forward, showing that ambitious, mature music is still possible in the scene after all. Alcest - Les Voyages de L'Âme More otherworldly, black metal-infused shoegaze from Neige. Alcest is really in a class of its own. highlight: Faiseurs de mondes Ayabie - Answer The best pop-rock album I've heard in a long, long time. highlight: Paradise Paradox Blut aus Nord - 777 - Cosmosophy The conclusion of BaN's sprawling trilogy, Cosmosophy is dreamy, spacious, and unsettling. Creature Creature - Phantoms Morrie's still got it. highlight: 楽園へ Goatbed - HELLBLAU Goatbed's most mature release, I think, and one of their most interesting - like a David Sylvian solo album to their earlier work's Japan. highlight: Paramidia+ Liphlich - Lost Icon's Price Cabaret-kei carries on. highlight: フェデリコ9 摩天楼オペラ - Justice Pompous and overblown. VK needs more of it. highlight: 落とし穴の底はこんな世界 ZIZ - GIFT Cyberpunk dance party, anyone? highlight: Kosmostill

Review: Zesshoku's Presents: interference demon I was already familiar with several of the artists featured on this mixtape (Melt-Banana, for instance, is my most-played artist), but hearing them in close proximity to each other serves to magnify their manic intensity. There's a barely-restrained seething underlying even the less-intense tracks here. I absolutely loved the last two songs - the complete freakout of Aliene Maφriage - 蝕, followed by the tentative catharsis (though perhaps lingering anger) of 殻 - wormhole.

Hello.

Blut Aus Nord - MoRT zH6KJEZc3G8 Much of Ryoji Ikeda's work, but I'll link something from dataplex fr_BeR_1RE4 Just because of its scope (and the abrasiveness of disc 1), Pan Sonic's quadruple-album Kesto (234.48:4) qLMaUnGE4bU
