I'm looking for a band/artist that sounds like 圭 (kei) with the whole minimal electronics and guitar? And no, no Owl City.

Fixed juuuuust a little. Honestly, I kind of agree to an extent. Sphire Croid is really gold and nothing ReS did afterwards compared (except for some parts on The bottom of chaos). I kind of like Satsuki's little solo thing going on because it does really remind me a lot of ReS older era (like Rain Drop and Veil of Maria). This album was pretty disappointing to me. There really was no reason to re-record material from his earlier singles but what's done is done. No really highlights on the album either but the re-recording of Veil of Maria had some interesting new tweaks to it. I wouldn't consider his solo career a fail just yet. He has a few good songs up his sleeve (and by few I mean few. Maybe three or four) so far but I hope he continues with more. He needs to (hopefully soon) release a full album or mini with no re-recordings. Have 3 or 4 Veil of Maria-type songs and a bunch of La Lunes' and Closs of Yellows' and i'll be set.

After reading a few of reviews, i've become a fan of his work.

What the hell. This is too scary. This can't be real.... what the fuck seriously....
  6. http://namelesslibertyunderground.blogs ... order.html Words cannot describe it. You must read it yourself. He (or she) pretty much names every band in existence and becomes an elitist with the whole "tag songs correctly". I dunno. I was bored, found the website, and not bashing the reviewer in any way. Just found the whole review funny. heh Reviewer, are you on this forum?

Thank you both for replying. It's a very serious time for me and i'm so upset. I didn't sleep at all last night and I doubt I will sleep until he comes home. Yes, she did injure herself and my boyfriend would never ever touch anyone - especially his own pregnant sister. We will find out more information (like court sentences) probably when he gets out Tuesday. What bothers me is that she tried going to two hospitals yesterday and both released her as if she is in perfect condition with no physical harm.. so why was he even arrested? He willingly went to the police department last night when his brother called him saying an officer would like to speak to him. There's no hard evidence whatsoever. I really don't know how the law enforcement system works on domestic violence charges. I don't want to say they don't have a hard enough case on him that he'll be fine but there's still that slim chance because she's pregnant. She make up whatever she wants (because she's mentally ill) and feel like she can get away with it but her voice alone won't convince anyone unless there's clear proof, right?
  8. Last night, my life partner (with whom I live with) was arrested and put to jail. He is not at fault. He got into an argument with his sister (who has reported documents of being mentally ill) and she self-inflicted her arms and went to the hospital. Now there's a domestic case going on. He gets out "hopefully" Tuesday but this case is going to be ongoing. My partner has no record of any kind and his sister has been in trouble with the law countless times. I do not know what to do. I feel the only reason he is in jail is only for the sole reason that his sister is 4 months pregnant. My partners brother, myself, their father, and my partners best friend are all witnesses to this incident. His sister only has her self and her fiance. I am heartbroken and unsure of what to do or how to help legally. There is nothing I can do, right?
  9. It's about damn time! haha Been waiting for a while for a full album!

Or even a studio recording of Scatologist.

Versus has a lot of variety and I don't understand why fans have continued to say that it was boring - with a lot of repetition. I found it to be a very solid release and am anxious to hear the new album.

    Yes.

I'm so glad I am not you. No offense, btw. But I simply don't care about what's the most melodic or heavy. I care about good music and bad music. And if you ask me, Versus falls into the first category while Six falls into the second one. Simple as that!More melodic and heavier. Lol, as if I care. Bad music is bad music anyway. Jeewzuz! You're so glad you're not me? In terms of musical taste or are we talking about careers here, Mono? Hmm. You could've been a LITTLE nicer in your reply. I wasn't being a douchebag in my reply to you so it's best if you think before you type our your insults. I don't care what's heavy or melodic either. I was just curious about your distaste of SIX because you're the first person i've seen that doesn't care for the EP. I do however agree that VERSUS is a step up from SIX.

How can you not like SIX but like VERSUS? I don't understand. If anything, SIX was more melodic and, at times, heavier.

THRUST will be the new BLAZE \m/

    ... Disc 2 is GOLDEN.

^ No. A lot of people will disagree with you on there. I HATED Count Your Blessings but loved Suicide Season. Now, I like both albums equally. And a lot of Suicide Season haters are actually digging "It Never Ends". I've come to realize this band loves new directions and evolution because each album sounds completely different. CYB was pretty much pure deathcore, SS was more hardcore with barely any growling/screaming and more on shouting. The new album (long name, can't remember what it's called) is going to be another different step from them - taking the new single into consideration. To me, it sounds like UnderOath but i'll wait and judge the album later but I think i'm going to like it.

I think everyone can agree that "The farthest" is their best out of the three consecutive singles.

Brokencyde? Woah, probably shouldnt've brought that out in the open like that.

Yeah, he did Tokyo Godfathers too. Not a big fan of the movie but my god Perfect Blue.. Paprika.. man was a genius. Anime News Network has some heavy articles regarding his death. Apparently Satoshi Kon and his wife knew he wasn't going to live past 6 months as he was diagnosed with cancer in May. Kon pretty much called it quits then and he accepted what would end up being his fate. So, really, his death was more on a positive note - he knew he was going to die, called his directorial work complete, and died with a feeling of accomplishment which, in my opinion, feel better about it. He was working on a new film which is managment is still working on despite his death. I guess the script is completed so really all they have to do is animate it. I know for a damn fact that (not being smart about it) it's going to blow up with awards.
