The sweetheart could use a break, too, some time off to mourn and recover himself. Not that it's exactly a convenient opening in his time schedule with this happening, but he's been having it tough --- I can simply see from looking at his appearance recently. My thoughts and prayers are with him, the band and everyone who knew the person who passed. ❤

If it were Riku, I think Twitter and ameba would have been in much more of a tumult. He actually tweeted a couple of days ago for the first time since April 2014.

I am certain that some people are given more freedom to 'express' themselves than others — because I have seen others do the general swearing and they immediately got a warning while it was even less offensive than this is. Once someone accuses you directly of being annoying like the always lovely and positive Sakura Seven just did, and you defend yourself, you are the bad guy and you will get moderators breathing down your neck. It's just ridiculous.

I think relentless has merely proven that with well-calculated and meticulous reading, anyone can grow upset over misunderstanding their own personal written words. Expletives have ascertained not to be leading someone beyond their point and are but a last resort of a defensive wall when someone is aware of being driven within a corner by their own minor mistakes. I should not have brought up the topic about musical genres, it was obviously wrong in sense of how people's particular and exclusive tastes build up a fortification when something they treasure is looked down upon or spoken differently about than what someone's expectations from others are, as in that we expect people to adore something as much as we do — and when the opposite party fails on their behalf of doing so, we grow frustrated. Personally, I do not think this thread is a safe haven anymore for those who are easily stepped on their toes (like myself, admittedly), I have seen a lot of people being driven into the tree trops, those who have been verbally assaulted and without being a moderator, I cannot do anything about it (as much as I would love to), whilst I have more than often given the green light to merciless oral aggression in this thread.

Metalcore a small scene in 2011? Please don't kid me. Those were the years band after band toured the world, without a single stop. Around that time I have seen countless metalcore and deathcore bands that I completely lost count of who and what I've seen. Shows every week, not just single lives but at least four bands performing at every gig, lasting for 6:00 til 0:00 — don't imply those years were bad for that scene because they were absolutely not, the scene was never bigger than at that time.

Glad I listen to none of those.
