  1. It looks like MIRAGE are recording new material!
  2. The band have apparantly lost contact with vocalist Amane after he stated to be in 'poor physical condition' since October 25th last week. They have no idea of his whereabouts and apologise to the fans.

If you do not want to deal with foobar2000's multiple workarounds to finally get it working in a way you want it to, I highly recommend MusicBee. Very easily customizable, plays all formats and even has a built-in Last.fm scrobbler.

Concoct of me a golden formula animating such the dormant corpse of life’s prevailing fountain in my stand, and am I not this ageless water’s word; of impotence, of this shortcoming relapse in to the sins of saviours, asking me of where they had fallen had I felt of such the water’s weight pulling on their wingless forms in seasons, that were not of my own call; where with winters hot and summers cold, a spring grasped on to flora her soft leaves and an autumn forged the poppies stall. And came it alone when the rain befell your questioning eyelids and asked of me a ‘Father, why,’ as blinding struck the sunlight in the formless night your only seeing eyes, those I couldn’t sink within without feeling not a tinge of regret, but a greater weight in many worlds destructive and gathered in my aging hands — could you alone follow the heir of remission in their maturing lines and trace of them a promising token with your sightless seers, then, perhaps, could I again, love some of myself.

Why, THE MINCE is probably my favourite mini album of the year. Weren't they doing well?

I think this is the source, but this is just from a general visual kei news page.
  9. New poster revealing that Dear Loving have filled Kra's spot on the event. Additionally, the band Sclaim will open up for the event. It is also revealed something new will be released at the event (likely to be live-limited).

I have disliked children ever since I grew my own consciousness. Anything up to the ages of ten is a no-no. Between not desiring sex whatsoever, horrifying the sight and thought of childbirth and the dreadful knowledge that children are hideous little monsters, I have no maternal instinct at all. I also fear for the time when perhaps my siblings will become parents. It may sound terribly selfish, but I would like to keep my siblings to myself, thank you very much. I am glad my oldest sister thinks similarly to me, but I have no clue about what my brother or younger sister will procure in the future and I always imagine the worst.
  11. That sounds like a beautiful beginning of the new year.
  12. That moment when you find out that the guy who released one of the best death metal albums of the year worked on a Yohio album. Ehh, mixed feelings now. Oh well.
  13. So it is necessary to verify all your dummy accounts now in order to up-and downvote artists' pictures. However when you verify and go back to the page, it hasn't worked and you will be sent into an endless loop of dysfunctional verification. Lovely.

Their latest release was instrumentally superb, but I just couldn't wrap myself around Zin's vocals. He has a great range for power metal, but the recent input of growls and screams just do not fit his style at all and if this was the direction they were headed in it might have been for the best to let him go, let's be honest here. I saw them live a couple of years ago in Köln and I really enjoyed their performance, but I think this project simply wasn't meant to be.
  15. You completed the Raid yet, scrub?

Ah, yes. I have a pretty steady clan coming over from D1 so I can complete it three times a week if I want to.

  16. The Matina label and Mirage will hold their 20 year anniversary event on Saturday 2018.03.31 somewhere in Tokyo, which will likely include a live from Mirage. Full information becomes available on October 1st.
  17. I do at least hope it is something worthwhile that might result in new music, and not another luckybag sale of whatever leftover merchandise he has stored away still, or something.
  18. Kisaki will be making an announcement at 9PM Japanese local time today (or tomorrow, depending where you're at).

They mean P60 in Amstelveen, not Amsterdam. Not the first time those two cities got confused. Most of us Dutch people know this but for foreigners who might be travelling per train or bus (or whatever else) it's very confusing because they will blindly travel to Amsterdam and don't realize that from there they still need an extra forty-five minutes to get to the busstation in Amstelveen because Amstelveen does not have a trainstation, and at night it's difficult to get home from this location with public transport. Just going to tag @Suuu here to perhaps have it corrected on the poster. Just a general explanation for those travelling from abroad; if you're staying in Amsterdam, you first have to travel to Schiphol Airport from Amsterdam Central, and from there take the bus to Amstelveen's city center. I suggest to seek lodging close to Schiphol Airport if you're staying overnight (which might still be difficult, as it's always crowded and overbooked around there), as Amstelveen doesn't exactly offer any affordable accomodations. The better thing of course is to stay with someone who lives closeby, but that's not always the case.

I can't merely choose two! This year has been full of great releases already, although not so much on the Japanese scale. Internationally however... what a blast. I'll be sneaky here and choose two international releases and two Japanese releases, hah. International; "Tchornobog" by Tchornobog. — I can barely even describe this album. It is an infinitesimal blackened death metal journey through a bleak science-fictional world, composed by merely one man with a fantastic mind full of otherworldly and otherplanetary ideas. Four gigantic tracks that cover a vile and unknown landscape of metaphorical events and sensory overload. I cannot call this anything but absolutely brilliant. "Terrestrial Mutations" by Droid. — Where Vektor left many of us feeling with quite empty void inside of ourselves, Droid appear with their second release and it's everything a thrash metal fanatic could ever hope for (although not with blackened influences, but a great deal of significant progressive effects). It's classic, fresh and timeless all at once in both its musical, technical as well as its lyrical contents. I will be listening to this for many years to come. Japanese; "Death Is A Flower" by Creature Creature. — Every little spawn of Morrie is wonderful, with "Death Is A Flower" being of course no exception. It feels rather dark and eerie, and emotionally encumbered as is always the case with this band, but perhaps the members have taken it up a notch. There are moments that feel quite panicky and distressed, primarily lead by cunning guitarwork that builds tension and startling moments at exactly the right time. "13" by cali≠gari. — This release is just as quirky and unconventional as you would expect from cali≠gari, but there is still a nice balance between their usual peculiarities as well as generally more friendly songs for everyone's ears, and both sides are very, very enjoyable and easy to listen to. Just imagine listening to this in a cloudy mob-and-maffia bar in the 1920's. Jazzy elements, horns and smart basslines aplenty!
  22. Luvio is just too lovely for something like this to be happening to, I hope things will turn out well for him very soon.
  23. You're no longer allowed to bring in any bags bigger than the size of an A4 paper sheet in most of the larger Dutch venues here, with regard to the terrorist scares. If you have the same thing going on over there in Canada (presumably not, but still), I simply suggest a tote-bag or a small handbag you can keep on your shoulder. Those are usually the most comfortable for size and carrying too. Either way, I've been caught up in moshpits often enough with merchandise already on me and nothing ever got squished, so I'm sure you'll be fine.

Not to be too direct or rude (or a party-pooper), but in that particular trade-off, you were supposed to be my partner. In your first attempt you sent me a mixture of Youtube links and shady streaming websites which I did not even want to visit in the fear of my system getting infected with malware of some sort. On your second attempt you sent me a mostly untagged mix with tracks mainly consisting of bitrates even lower than 128kbps which highly suggested they were either Youtube rips or rips from aforementioned streaming platforms, and I couldn't make anything of it. There are downloads available for almost everything in the quality of at least 192kbps all over the internet. I suggest you find clean rips of the music you want to add to your mixtape and use those files instead.
