That was actually...pretty good. I'm off to look for downloads.
  2. Corronum

If it helps, I am trying to post my requests in the proper forum, but there was that first one that was misplaced...I apologize for that.
  3. Corronum

I'm back again with another request for lyrics. This time, I'm looking for Heretical Gaze by E'm ~grief~ Deep Love by VII-Sense. Looking mostly for romaji, but any form is fine. Thank you in advance. Update: Just need Deep Love now.
  4. Corronum

Vocalist is definitely not my cup of tea. I think I'll pass.
  5. Corronum

Tried out Holy Grail...wasn't that impressed except for Dry Ice Scream (I have weird tastes, I know) , which actually sounded -different- The engrish in Love will be born again cracked me up too much for me to pay attention to it. Sorry, Kamijo, but excessive english from you is as bad as Juka's falsettos in VII-Sense...except in The Revenant Choir, that was tolerable. =) I'll settle for Lyrical Sympathy and Jubilee for now.
  6. Corronum

Wow, I never thought I'd see them again...I only really remember Aquarius from hearing it being played in an amusement park gift shop, and liking "Back From Mars" the best. I may actually look into their newer stuff sometime.
  7. Corronum

Y-yes ;_; I hope all goes well for them both.

As soon as I heard Dirty Limblic System it was an instant favorite. I think I immediately changed my name to D.L.S on this forum after that. ... Peace and I uploaded lossless versions of Atonality if you are interested in that: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1769 Ack! Pardon my spelling. I'd only glanced at the title when it came up during my repeat-shuffle fest of their stuff. I'll go check out the uploads immediately. Thank you. =) Somehow, the fact that the blog's updated at all after the hiatus gives me some hope.

This is the second band I've gotten into that claims that "they'll be back someday", the first being G-Zas. Oh, VeeKay, why do you play with my heart so? I'll miss E'm ~grief~ dearly.
  10. Corronum

Wait...I think I've seen that before on CDJapan! ...if only I still had money. I would've bought it, too.
  11. Corronum

They might as well be disbanded. I love them so much, but I fear that their hiatus will be the same as Malice Mizer's. They really were the best and I highly recommend to you the song D.L.S~Dirty Limblic System~. I have that same sinking feeling, and can only hope that the members (especially Rita) find other projects. I've already downloaded just about everything of theirs, and D.L.S~Dirty Limbic System~ is another favorite of mine.

I had a bad feeling this was going to happen. It's such a shame, too. I was also one of those who sort of "grew up" with Despa. They were one of the first visual bands I listened too. Best of luck to Hizumi.
  13. Corronum

I've gotten into them thanks to this thread. Edit: Clearly I misread something and thought they'd disbanded. I should know better than to try reading when exhausted. On topic: I think I found another addition to my list of favorite bands. I just love Heretical Glare. Rita's voice in it makes me go like this >

I used to be a very mild version of the anime freak. I'd hate the crap out of almost all western animation while praising anime and watching little else. I had the "gothic" phase (not going to lie, I'm still into it, I just dress a lot more sensibly nowadays) and thought I was "oh so kewl and unique" by wearing a Hot Topic "straightjacket" and my hair in twin ponytails--tied up with striped shoelaces. Make-up was usually akin to looking like I colored in my eyelids with charcoal. I also did this for Friday the 13th, like it was some sort of SPESHUL GOFFIK holiday. Thank god I had as much of an aversion to cameras as I do now. I never fantasized about living in Japan, but I did allow my anime-loving friends of the more severe "otaku" variety call me by the horrible engrish version of my first name. I was also one of those "I'M GONNA DRAW IN MANGA STYLE FOREVER AND NEVER LEARN ANYTHING ELSE. ANATOMY WHAT IS THAT? LOLOLOLOL" types of artists. (Most of) the gothic and horrible near-weabooness was quickly knocked out of me as soon as I entered art college; I couldn't be happier for it.

Korn/Disturbed: Got into Korn during middle school. These bands are my earliest accounts of my beginning to care about music. I saw the video for “Freak on a Leash?? and just had to get everything they released. They pretty much opened the door to the land of nu-metal, where Disturbed fell into the second place spot for favorite band. Orgy – Started my furious love affair with guitars and electro elements. I now salivate at anything that combines these two. After them came Razed in Black, GPKISM, Neon Synthesis, Rammstein, and Oomph. …It was a strange transition in my life. I still return to Orgy whenever I need an amazing electro-industrial/metal fix. D’espairsRay – The beginning of my fall into J-rock with their darker, gothic-inspired music I was already into dark stuff when I started high school, they simply expanded my musical horizons. I played their Coll:Set album to death and still fall back on it every once in a while. Blind Gaurdian – Started another steamy affair, this time with guitars combined with classical elements. Lead to many a European metal band. And then… Malice Mizer/Moi Dix Mois- I had a friend in high school that was a total Mana fanboy. He practically injected these two bands into my veins. Ever since, I just can’t get enough of guitars and pipe organs. As much as Mana’s looks give me the creeps, I can’t deny that his music was a HUGE influence in the formation of my J-rock tastes. MM doesn't do as much for me nowadays, as I burned myself out on Gackt and his era in 10th grade. I still adore Klaha's era, however.

Here's my list: GPKISM - Illuminatum (7:13) GPKISM - Metempsykhosis (7:21) Lacroix Despheres - La vérité fermée (8:18) Lacroix Despheres - La Sortilege (7:16) Malice Mizer - Kyomu no Naka de no Yuugi (7:39) Muse- Citizen Erased (7:21) Versailles - The Revenant Choir (8:43) Versailles - The Love from a Dead Orchestra (8:29) Versailles- Princess – Revival of church- (8:17) X Japan - DAHLIA (7:56) If the minimum was over five minutes rather than seven, this list would be A LOT longer.

That one was a bit better for me, but I still don't have a whole load of favorites from it. I just know that nothing from Noble or the new singles has yet to grab my attention. This might be fixed by a few more listens, though. Sometimes, if I keep trying things out, I'll find a hook.

I liked the heavier style of G-zas over the lighter Seven, but I enjoyed the latter nonetheless because of KIRA's vocals. Usually if the vocalist catches my attention well enough in a band, I (try to) follow them forever. Yes, please come back G-Zas
  19. Corronum

    Hahaha, I thought I was the only one that cared about KIRA. Good to see I was wrong. I miss him so much. ;___;
  20. Corronum

I had no idea that there -were- releases after Killer Tune. I'd been looking all over to see if there was anything else, but it seems like both the bands that Kira's in has little to nothing about them. It's frustrating. D: I really wish I knew what the heck was going on with him. Apparently G-Zas was just on a break and promised to come back, but I've found nothing from them either. I have the worst luck with bands anymore...
  21. Corronum

That sort of happened to me with VII-Sense, though I still think they're a huge noisy mess with few songs that stay with me; few being Black Bird and Deep Love.
  22. Corronum

A friend sent me some songs from Walking with Strangers and Violet and I was hooked immediately. I love the sound of electronica and guitars (Thanks to Razed in Black) so they were like a dream come true for me. My favorite songs are Weekend, To Die For, Goodnight and Over.
  23. Corronum

I really, really want to like Versailles. There's quite a few songs that always float back into my head, but unfortunately they're older tunes. None of the newer stuff ( or rather, anything after Lyrical Sympathy) really grabs my attention and it's a shame. It all just melds into one big blob of solos and orchestral pieces. I keep hoping that after a few playthroughs something new will grow on me. The new singles did nothing for me, but I don't want to give up on them just yet...

Kaya's smile hurts my heart with it's cute/pretty. I first saw it in the Chocolat PV and just about died.

Another couple of songs with lyrics I haven't been able to find in my searches. It doesn't matter what form they're in. These songs have been stuck in my head for days... EDIT: I have album, and have uploaded scans of the booklet here: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=9819. It has the lyrics in kana, and I'm looking for them in romaji form. I'll be eternally grateful for any help!
