Did anyone get this single, or is planning to obtain it in some way?

It's easy to give fault of this tracklist to the label, but we know that versailles were always made of stupid decisions since their begin, way before they went major. They always have been money suckers, but at least they made good music years back (maybe not as well produced, but without recycling the same ideas over and over). It's been years now since I lost faith in them, I haven't even listened to their last album, and honestly, I can't even listen to the old good songs anymore since i dislike them so much right now. They were once one of my favourite bands, I even went in a foregin country to attend to one of their lives, and then they gradually turned into shit. They were already beginning to get repetitive, then they turned major+jasmine death+new bassist= for me they kept only their bad aspects and forgot about the good ones.

I had high hopes for this album, after the huge disappointment of the last release (I dont even remember the album's name), in which the only song I liked was the remake. So, I thought "it's obvious that Mana has run out of ideas, a remake album may be a good one to keep my interest in mdm". And it actually did. I LOVE Seth (Seiji, Z, whatever), and I dont hate Juka...but let's be honest, whoever thinks that Juka is a better singer than Seiji, especially in lives...is just a horny fangirl. So, for me, this is already a big improvement (even though, it's quite obvious these songs werent "designed" for seiji, in some cases it doesnt even sound like him ahah). Aside the improvements in vocals, they got rid (kinda) of those crappy synth sounds that were used in their first releases, overall it's more enjoyable. The choice of the songs is not bad, but could have been better, in my opinion. The lack of monophobia is particulary disappointing. And pageant...I never liked its "happy" feel, and I still dont like it, it doesnt suit mdm at all. Another little disappointment was the prophet, a song that I love, and I found not having the same power of the original (especially the distorted voice, is not as creeply distorted as it used to be). Aside these "flaws", I really liked it. I liked je l'aime, the new song, too. Maybe it's because this is not an album filled with meaningless songs, so this new one can stand out a little (for being the only new one)..I'd just like to kill seiji for that crappy french in the end (is it french? idk, it just made my ears bleed). As for the SEs, I never care about them, listen to them once and then always skip them, and its not unusual for Mana to put 2-3 SEs in his albums, so it's not surprising. I wont give this a vote. I just liked it a lot, especially compared to the last release. Finally, I have some stuff from mdm to listen to again.
  4. Genryuu111

all of mdm albums are 12-13 tracks long, with 2-3 SE
  5. Genryuu111

am I the only one not giving a fuck about the new song, and willing to hear only the re recordings?
  6. Genryuu111

I'm not interested in the dvd (I never buy them), but..I need to understand the differences between the 2 cds, because I dont think I can afford em both, and my ass is already in pain thinking I'll have to chose only one.
  7. Genryuu111

wow, if it's an actual song (and not just an intro or something) I'm going to love it.
  8. Genryuu111

well, it's not art cube's fault if mana preferes scratching his balls and designing shit clothes for years, instead of making music. and to be honest, he's right about not making music anymore because there was not a single decent track in the last album (except the remade one) that's why I have high hopes for the "new" mdm album. decent old music, with a good singer. seiji is much more valorized in AC then in mdm anyway I'm very happy about new art cube's releases, even if I usually like only half of the songs they make. they're the only active visual band I care about.
  9. Genryuu111

thanks for the news! both Y and S remind me of kozi, obviously from two very different malice mizer eras the main problem about art cube's look, is that you can really tell they're old guys, under those makeups/wigs/clothes but I still love them <3
  10. Genryuu111

ok, did kozi take the place of K?
  11. wow, I like the sound of both songs, looks like a promising release! a bit sad about the usual live only edition =_= I'll skip on it this time, I'll just download the new shitsurakuchou
  12. Genryuu111

since the last album to me was just a bunch of CRAP with the only good song being the re-recorded one, I really appreciate this. I love seiji, dont like juka too much, and especially dix inferno is a nice album with bad arrangements. I'm really looking forward to this.
  13. Genryuu111

zakuro again T_T well anyway it's good they're playing such good old songs, gives me hopes for a next tour to be even better
  14. Genryuu111

well, he did only ONE inward scream, so I dont know at what concert they where XD edit. now you give me doubts it wasnt exactly there, but I'm 100% sure he did it just once...that, or I'm a total idiot. :v
  15. Genryuu111

inward scream was between shokubeni and tsumi to kisei and about karasu/obscure stuff, he doesnt "make up" lyrics, he just changes it. he's been doing that version of obscure for a while, and the lyrics were always the same. if I remember correcly, that goes also for concieved sorrow, for example. that video of karasu is great, it's pratically the same song...I dont care much if he changed the words since it's not a melodic song
  16. Genryuu111

DAT CONCERT. it was a lot better than their last concert in italy. I really loved it. a bit disappointed for the lack of red soil, zakuro (looks like its zakuro OR aint afraid to die, and they played this last one), and karasu but overall, an awesome concert, kyo did it really well, and the whole band seemed to enjoy playing a lot..toshiya was constantly smiling, and die was all jumpy..I didnt have such a good impression 2 years ago I dont remember the exact setlist, but it was similar to the others in the tour, nothing new (only 3 songs in the encore...) oh, and looks like kyo skipped the meet and greet some people paid 80 euros for, did this happen to other countries too? because it was a rumor that was floating for days XD
  17. Genryuu111

I'm really PRAYING they'll play zakuro T_T and omg, karasu too? this tour is amazing. please dont disappoint me in italy :v

for me, this album is like every album they made. I have a weird thing with deg, I never liked ANY of their albums as a whole, but I absolutely love some songs, and this one is no exception. in general, this album is a bit too prog for my ears, which is not my bread. but still, I can appreciate the effort. -I loved different sense, still loving it. -when amon was a single a few days ago I was like "meh", but now that I listened to it a few more times I really like it. -dreambox is like red soil, it makes me laugh (in a positive way) -lotus, I hated it as a single but...was that bass always there? that bass gave it 100 points to my ears. -diabolos, vinushka part 2. a more interesting clean/calm part, a more boring heavy part. not bad, but I'm not a fan of long songs. -hageshisa...what did they do to you? ;_; from the sample I was like "oh wow cool, they improved the growling in this one"...yes, they kinda did, but now everything just doesnt blend at all..the song was totally ruined. -vanitas, nice ballad, but I liked a lot more ware, yami tote in uroboros. maybe it will grow more later. -amon (symph) OMG probably my favourite in the album excluding different sense and the old hageshisa. I actually started loving the original amon after listening to this one. first time they dont destroy a song "unplugging" it. it's just the original with strings in the background. and it fucking works.they need to work more like this, I love it. sadly it's "just" a bonus track, and many of you wont even consider it in the album. all the songs left out are songs that didnt stand out for me at the first 2-3 listens. maybe I'll start loving some of them later.
  20. what do you think about this release? to be honest I was quite disappointed. it sounds a lot like kaya solo works, it doesnt have the feeling most of SS songs had. I really loved all of their releases (except the distorted voice songs, those are not my thing), including another cell, that had some new songs and some redone hora works (and to be honest inner universe and frozen past are probably their 2 songs I like most). this new mini album didnt have a single song that I actually liked. it's not bad for sure, but in my opinion there's no great song. I listened to it only once, I will give it a try again, but with the preavious releases I really liked almost everything at first listen, while here I was quite...bored. I dont like kaya's solo works, and here there is too much kaya and not enough schwarz stein. also, I felt like some (if not all) songs were meant to be instrumentals like most of hora's works, and they just added voice to it.. I hope I'll change my mind. sadly, lately many bands I love are releasing crap works (mdm d+sect, versailles everything after noble) and now SS, from a band that probably wont release anything after this. sad T_T

@cibicco-san gekkako was the only song I liked, and it came from a single catharsis has an amazing start, but then turns in the typical fast versailles song the umbrella of glass to me seems a boring version of windress I agree for amorphous to be quite different, but still it's not enough catchy to me serenade is a good song, but it's a ballad that HAS to be in EVERY metal album, and to be honest, I think people like it mainly because of the reference to jasmine, and not for the song to be actually something special about the crappy synths, like you said, it's a matter of tastes, I prefered the crappy synths to what there is now, but I think that's a normal evolution for a band that goes major (instead of doing like in the last MdM album, that has some of the fakest synths I've ever heard XD) anyway, listened again to philia, it's not BAD, but not special either :/ the only thing I appreciate is the new kind of costumes, they really needed something differend (although I dont understand why they have 2 sets of costumes..) lol at those old school videos XD
  22. Genryuu111

he improved A LOT for sure, with boring I mean that the vocal line is not very catching and quite repetitive. and no, I'm not kidding, I like songs to have a definite structure, in those 2 songs there is no chorus, no verse, it only seems a bridge, leading to another bridge, leading to another bridge, leading to a chorus that you hear only once in the song, UBAH SOLO obbviously, bridge, bridge, end. and yeah, hizaki's and teru's solos were cool back then, but now...they sound very forced, very similar, I cant tell one from the other..
  23. Genryuu111

ok but, let's take a look at lyrical sympathy: 1-intro (ok, intro) 2-the love from a dead orchestra: the only long lasting song that does not sound like a collage of many unfinished songs pasted into one (refering to god palace and history of the other side), catchy vocals 3-shout and bites: the weakest song in the ep in my opinion, too much of that bad "screaming" they had at the time, but still an enjoyable song, catchy vocals 4-beast of desire: cool synths, fast song, catchy vocals 5-forbidden gate: nice use of flutes and harp synths, a little less heavy than the other songs, catchy vocals 6-the red carpet day: very fast guitars along with very fast organ, not one of my favourites, but it's pretty different from the others 7-sympathya:a nice closing ballad in total, there are 6 VERY different songs, different structures, different choices of styles, different uses of synths, didnt feel the need to put an "OMFG1!1!1!!!!111 UBER HIZAKI SOLOH" in every song and, very important, catchy vocals. noble still had catchy songs and cool things, but sometimes you could hear something that reminded you their old songs. after that (starting from prince and princess) 80% of their songs are all just too much similar: strings, strings, strings UBAH SOLO, UBAH SOLO, UBAH SOLO boring kamijo, boring kamijo, boring kamijo I dont mean all of their songs look alike, now as for recent ones, the B-sides in destiny were pretty cool and innovative, gekkakou also, but in jubilee there was not a single song (aside gekkakou) that I actually liked.. I'm sad because in my opinion they started in a more "simple" way of doing things, and now they turned into something too much elaborated under certain aspects, and too much boring and repetetive (and, I cant tell for sure, but to me it looks like it's kamijo the root of all this..)
  24. Genryuu111

am I the only one on this forum considering 80% of their post-noble production pure repetitive, uninspired, boring crap? and again, again, another boring song, like destiny (but at least the B-sides in that single were something new...) I hope the B-sides of this one will be good too, because I'm really losing hopes in this once great band.
