Weird. Who were you going to cover the con for? Every time I've worked press its just the regular cost of the con and proof of business ID, etc. But I'm not working this one. I'm just going to hang out at my besties local con for her birthday. It was just dumb luck the bands happened to be ones I want to see. :") Have fun at Knotfest. Same situation for me there... too far, and too expensive after TnT and multiple warped tour dates. Hoping they come back. ^^

ah nono I mean the press badge itself would be free and I'd have interviewed the bands etc etc with a translator and Photos if approved... but hotel plane and all that would be on me and that's the most expensive. Like Sakuracon for me this year was easy to press cuz I live like 20 mins away. Im not too sure yet if I'm going or not... but if I do go and you can't make it I can grab merch for you or something *___* a few of my friends wanna go too so it's a matter of getting time off from work and affording a plane ticket. 

Well yeah, hotel and travel is expensive. I've gone to so many cons at this point I usually share hotel rooms and fly off days to help cut those costs. Or I stay with a local friend. I already talked to someone else about grabbing me merch at Knotfest. But thanks for offering.
